Fix What's Broken (Fable 3 Reaver)

Siren

I woke up hours later, maybe around seven o'clock. Addie was still asleep so I got out of bed and changed into a black skirt similar to the ones that we wore during the revolution, and put on a white shirt along with a pair of black leather ankle boots that had a two inch heel on them. I brushed through my hair and did my make up. I left Addie a note saying that I already left and to meet me at the gazebo. I left the note beside her on the pillow before leaving the room.

"Morning." The guards said as I passed, "Morning." I replied before making my way down the steps. I walked through the garden and into the kitchen where there were already a few people at work. 

One of the maids looked up and saw me so she grabbed a sandwich and brought it over to me, "Here you go." She said as she handed it to me, "Thank you." I said as I took it and left the kitchen.

I walked up to the front and saw Walter walking upstairs, "Where are you off to?" He asked, "Bower lake." I told him and he nodded before continuing with what he was doing.

I walked outside and down the steps as I ate my sandwich. I looked up and saw Reaver walking up holding a box, "She said yes." I said once he got close enough. He looked at me and nodded as he continued walking.

I walked through the market, smiling at the children running around. I saw a few people dancing to some music that was being played outside the bar and laughed a little when one of them stumbled and tripped. I felt a bit bad for laughing, but him and his friends were laughing too so I didn't feel that bad.

I continued walking until I reached the edge of the city. I saw a few animals as I walked farther out of the city towards bower lake. A rabbit ran out of a bush in front of me and sprinted across the path before disappearing into another bush.

After an hour of walking I finally reached Bower lake. The sparkling blue water was as beautiful as the last time I saw it and that was when I had to go to Reaver's mansion. 

I passed by a few people on my way to the gazebo in the center of the lake. I took off my shoes once I reached the bridge. I felt the cool stone against my bare feet as I crossed the bridge. Once reaching the gazebo I set my shoes down and walked over to the edge.

I sat down and let my feet hang over the edge in the water. It was cold, but not freezing. Just the right temperature since it was so warm out today. I decided to swim around for a bit before everyone else got here so I took off my glasses before I stood up and took a deep breathe before jumping into the water. 

I stayed still for a few seconds before opening my eyes. My legs suddenly started to feel tingly and I looked down to see bubbles forming around my legs. As I kicked my legs it started to get difficult to move them separately. I felt them start to bind together until they couldn't move anymore and when the bubbles disappeared there was a black and white mermaid tail where my legs once were. I looked down and saw that my shirt was replaced by a matching tank top.

I raised my hands and felt gills on the sides of my neck. I smiled and started breathing normally again. Well as normal as you can get as a mermaid.

I swan around the lake, seeing fish all over the place. I saw something glinting from the light and I swam towards it. Whatever it was it was covered by dirt.

I dug into the dirt only to find a diamond about half the size of my hand. I picked it up and brushed the rest of the dirt off it before inspecting it. It was cut perfectly, so it was likely someone owned this and had it cut but then either dropped it in the lake or threw it. The world may never know. 

I decided to swim back up to the gazebo. I heard muffled speaking and slowly emerged from the water as close to the edge of the gazebo as possible but stayed under the edge so they wouldn't see me.
