Fix What's Broken (Fable 3 Reaver)

The Hollow Men

   Jammy explained to us how to use the mortar, and said that we would each get a turn using it, "Dylan you go first." Ben said. I nodded and stood at the mortar, "Shoot that one right there." Jammy said while pointing to a dummy that he had set up earlier. I aimed at it and shot the mortar causing a ball to go flying out and blow up the dummy. I laughed and clapped in excitement before giving Jammy a high five.

   Addie went next and she also managed to blow one up, "Now let's shoot that last one right there." Ben said, "Yeah let's- wait hold on, I don't remember setting this one up." Jammy said in confusion. I then realized what was going on and my eyes widened. The dummy, or hollow man, suddenly started moving and broke the post it was attached to. Three more of them appeared and the first one pointed at the fort as it's head leaned back limply.

   "It's starting! Shoot them!" Ben said. Addie shot at the hollow men as they appeared, "Addie if you shoot the ones in bigger groups then you can get rid of more of them faster." I said. She nodded and aimed at a large group of them to the left and they all exploded, "Careful that zombie dust doesn't get in your eyes." Ben said as he pointed to the right at another group of them.

   A few minutes later they all turned into glowing orbs an traveled over the fort, "They're at the rear gates! Everyone get ready to fight!" Swift ordered. The four of us jumped down from the wall and ran over to where everyone was standing. Addie formed a flame in her hands along with some ice, as I drew my sword. The gate started shaking as the hollow men banged on them and two men ran over to try and keep the gate shut, but to no avail. The gates were destroyed and came crashing down on the two men as the wisps came flying in and landing in the ground.

   We spent ten minutes fighting when I saw that a hollow man was coming up behind Jammy so I quickly aimed my gun at it and shot it in the head. Jammy turned in surprise and smiled at me quickly but it disappeared when he looked behind me. I felt something cut my back sending me to the ground and and I looked to see a hollow man standing over me, "Dylan!" Addie and Walter yelled. I closed my eyes as it raised it's swords, but instead of it's swords hitting me and killing me there was a gunshot and the hollow man fell as I felt someone grab my arms and pull me out of the way of the fight, "Stay here." Jammy said as he hid me behind a wall, "I'll get the medics when this is over." He said as he pressed a cloth to my back, I nodded and he ran off to continue fighting. 

   Ten minutes passed and the fighting seemed to stop, "Victory! For real this time! All hail the princess!" Swift shouted, "And Dylan." Addie told him, "And Dylan! Where is she anyway?" He asked, "Right over here. She needs a medic." Jammy said as he led them over to where I was with a medic following after, "This may sting a little." The medic said as he cleaned my back, "Luckily for you the cut isn't too deep or you'd be dead." He said as he wrapped a cloth around me. "The hero blood in you should help that heal quickly but for now you should keep the bandage on." Walter said.

   Addie helped me up and we walked over to the gate with the others. Swift asked for  us to bring back the old guard and to bring honor back the the uniform and of course we agreed.

   We were now entering Bowerstone industrial. We walked up the steps to see people walking and children running in to factories as most of the adults were sitting on the ground with their hands out begging for money along with dirt, trash, and debris scattered around the whole area. Addie and I tried to give the people as much money as possible, but we sadly couldn't help everyone we saw, "I wonder what's going on up there. Let's see what's going on shall we?" Walter said as we headed towards one of the factories where you could hear a bunch of people shouting angrily.
