Chapter 31: Be Good To Me While I'm Still Here

Y/N POV

"Where are we going now?", Lina caught up when I was running outside.

"I don't know.", I was mad. "Just as I thought that I'm almost done with my problems, there's another portal for another unsolved mystery."

"Do you want to clear your thoughts for a moment?", Lina asked me with concern.

"That'll do. Can you please go back to the Twice's dorm? I really need to be alone. My mind's messy.", I stopped and looked back at her. "I want to go somewhere."

"Okay. Just text me if you need me.", she left me.

Where should I go now? I've got nowhere to go. I've got no one beside me. Whoever finds me first, that person is God's gift for me.

Jihyo's POV

"Oh! Lina! Why are you here already? Where have you been?", I asked Lina while waiting for Y/N to come inside but she didn't. "Something's strange. Where's Y/N?"

"She wants to be alone.", she sat on the sofa and joined Chaeyoung who's watching an action film. "What movie is that?"

"Hey Lina. Tell me where she is."

"I really don't know. She said that she wants to be alone and she didn't tell me where she's headed to.", Lina shrugged.

"Yah! Why did you leave her?!", I calmed myself. "She's not that very good in directions! She's not familiar with this place yet!"

"Oh my gosh!", Lina gasped. "I forgot that we're here in Korea!"

"Yah! I'll leave now! I have to find her!", I took my coat and rushed outside.

Where could she possibly go? Come on Ji! Think as much as you can! You have to remember a place where she would want to go. Come on destiny! Bring me to her again!

"Oops! I'm sorry Ms!", a guy bowed in front of me when he accidentally bumped me.

"It's no big deal.", I smiled.

"Oh my gosh!", he exclaimed. "Twice's Jihyo! Eveybody! It's Twice's Jihyo!"

Sh*t! How did he know? I touched my mouth and realized that I forgot to wear a mask. I ran before the hordes gathered to catch me. Someone! Kindly help me! I've got to go to Y/N! She needs me now!

"Twice's Jihyo! Wait for us!", a fan yelled when they were stopped by the traffic light.

Thank God, the time made them stop! I feel tired right now. I have to go to a cafe or something. I'm about to collapse until I found an ice cream shop. Yes! The ice cream shop that Y/N would want me to go with her before. Looking at the window pane, I feel more tired than before.

Mina's POV

Ugh! Why am I even craving for an ice cream right now? Maybe it's because of my monthly period. I want to go with someone but I've got no one to hang out with since Nayeon is lazy to go out, Momo and Dahyun are dating somewhere, Jeongyeon is going to hang out with her sister, Sana is preparing to confess for her love interest (that snake), Chaeyoung wants to finish her favorite film, Tzuyu should be the one to clean our dorm, and well, I cannot ask Jihyo. No way. Also, Y/N and Lina is nowhere.

"Hello! Welcome Ms!", a worker greeted me when I went inside.

I looked around for a vacant table as I saw a familiar face. It's Y/N. What is she doing alone in this place? I thought she's with her friend.

"Hey! Can I sit here?", I asked her making her lift her head to look at me.

"Of course! I can't see why not!", her eyes shined as if she's very pleased to meet me. "What are you doing here Minari?"
