I opened my phone and dialed Ian's number. It rung a few times, but luckily he picked up. Thank God.
"Ian, I'm in trouble. There is a girl posing as the 7th, who is an undercover assassin for the Black Diamonds. They are after me! The girl's name is Liv and she doesn't know that I found out her secret identity. Please help me."
"Where are you?" Ian asked.
"I'm headed back to my house. Meet me in my room, I'll put a ladder at my window."
"Okay."
Running down the block to my house, up into my room. I set a ladder out at the window, so Ian can get in my room.
I told him about everything that happened, with Liv.
"How are we supposed to keep her off our tracks?"
"If she is as high in the Black Diamonds as we think she is, then we are in trouble. They can find anyone they want. She is most likely the daughter of the head of the organization. There is no hiding from her, she'll find us anyways."
Sitting down, what is going to happen now? The head of the Black Diamonds knows about me, I'm being hunted, and I cannot even tell my best friend.
I wonder if Alec is worried about me.
Maybe that is why he is jealous, he is worried. Does he think that I have changed? Will he stay mad at me forever? I want to tell him so bad.
He deserves to know, I can't hide from him forever. Alec is part of my identity, my life, my everything. I don't want to live in a world where it isn't me and him like it was when we were kids. We shared everything, it's like we were two people with one personality. Now without him, it is like half of myself is missing.
"What's wrong, Aleah?" Ian asked as I began to cry.
"I can't take this anymore. The secrets, the lying, the powers, all of it." I stuttered.
This is all my fault, I don't belong in this world. I should just be taken out of it.
"You cannot change who you are. You are like this for a reason, it won't go away, so you have to learn to live with it."
"Easy for you to say, your life isn't at risk. Your mom didn't die from a terrorist group setting the building on fire and stabbed her!" Aleah yelled.
Alec is in danger and he doesn't even know. I don't know how to control my powers, people are after me, I am soon to die.
Ian sat down next to me and said, "Everything will be okay, I will make sure of it."
I started to calm down and opened the window for Ian.
"See you later, Aleah."
When Ian was climbing out of the window, I was laying back on my bed when I saw Rosy, standing in my room.
"Aleah, what is going on?" Rosy asked.
"Um... did you hear everything?"
"You have powers?"
