"Uh... hi dad. Sorry for bothering you, Alec and I were on our way out." I stuttered.

"Oh, sure," my dad said sarcastically, "You really think I will believe you guys? I know about your little thing, do I look like an idiot? Now that I think about it, why don't you come with me for a special surprise. You are my daughter."

"Surprise? No thank you."

"You sure? It will be great father daughter bonding time, honey," my dad reassured me as he stared at me with a sly smile.

My dad was leaning in to grab me, dodging his attack and swiped his leg, making him fall to the floor. Alec and I ran out of the house as my father tried to get up. That was a really close call. At least, we found what we needed to find and got out of there. I still had his business card and some photos I took of the room. We ran back to Ian's house to tell him all about it.

As I got to Ian's house, I could feel the sweat dripping off of my face from running away from my father. My heart was beating thousands of miles per hour as we opened the front door. The cool air hit my face, blowing the sweat off my face, when I saw that the kids weren't there anymore. Turning my head, I didn't see Alec anymore. There was only a note left behind on the door.

It was Liv:

You may be wondering what happened to your "precious" boyfriend and his family. Well, sorry, but these people are with me and you will never see them again. Unless you come and give yourself to our dad and join us. Otherwise, I might just have to kill them and you don't want that do you? There lives are in your hands. Meet me in the abandoned parking lot on Fifth Street. I will see you soon, Aleah.

-Liv

This girl is on my last nerve. She has pushed me to my breaking point. Maybe it is time for her to break. It was time for a battle, I am not just going to give myself in. I will fight for my freedom and the freedom of my family. Since, Alec and his siblings were more of a family than my father. Running to the backyard, Ian was still there, but Alec wasn't. It was true, Liv did take Alec because I wasn't paying attention to him as we were running home.

"Ian, it's time. Let's blow the roof off this place."

At this moment, I am outraged. Sweat pouring down my face and anger boiling up inside me. Ian and I began to run as fast as we can, there was little time left, so we had to move quick. Fifth Street was only a few blocks down, so we sprinted as fast as we could. It was time for this to be over with. My time to be a normal teenager again and finally get this over with. Even if this means I have to kill my so called "sister" and "father," I will do it for the sake of my real family.

"Fifth Street," the sign read.

It was time for the battle, good versus evil. This is my last chance, at family, at life. I took a deep breath, calming down my heart, and wiping the sweat off my forehead. Ian is right by my side, ready to fight for me. He is much different now.

The first time we met, he was a stuck up snob but, now it seems that he has warmed up to me. I started fidgeting with my hands, becoming more nervous by the second. Putting my hands by my side, I felt something hitting my hand, so I looked up. It was Ian, he was touching my hand.

"Aleah..." Ian whispered, "I don't know how to tell you this..."

"Just tell me, Ian"

"This time I have been with you has been the greatest experience of my life. I just wanted you to know that I have now realised that I might have feelings for you..."

Ripping my hand away in confusion and told him, "I... don't know... what to say. I'm sorry Ian, but can we just put this behind for now and go fight." I hesitated.

He looked so depressed and upset.

I just didn't know what to say to him. Alec is my boyfriend and I have so much going on that I froze. But, I really don't need this right now, so we just went inside of the abandoned parking lot.

Alec was tied at his mouth, arms, and legs. So, were his siblings. My face became pale and my heart felt as if it fell out of my body.

"Well... well. Look who it is, my sister. Big power, yet small brain. You would fall head over heels for your precious boyfriend and his family. Let's see how you do fighting against us for your so called 'family.' Liv hissed.

Looking to my right, I could see Ian. His fists were clenched and his face was bright red. Little sparks of electricity flew out of his hands. We do have more powers I guess, maybe it is time for me to use one.

I thought for a second and remembered, I have the power to travel into minds. Maybe I have a power that would be as strong as that. If I use my mind as the main source of power. Like... um.... TELEKINESIS! That does involve your mind right?

Come on! Come on! I have to save my family!

Shutting my eyes, I concentrated more and more. Until I felt a rush of power. My eyes shot open, a blue fiery aura covered me as I ascended into the air. My power worked and I am stronger than ever.

"Okay, if you are going to be like that, so be it." Liv threatened.

A red fiery aura engulfed her, like the devil has risen. She was using telekinesis. Where did she get this power and she looks much stronger than me.

"Oh, sorry I didn't tell you, but I am the 7th. Much stronger than you and more skilled. Let's see how you do against me, sister." Liv warned.

The battle has begun.
