Sneaking out of the headquarters I ran up the hidden stairs. The thought of my sister being the slightest of alive, makes me feel very queasy. There is just this thought in my mind that not everything is okay.

The .0000000001% chance that my sister can be doing something she shouldn't is a bigger chance than you would think. She will find a way to destroy my life without doing it herself.

I know this for sure.

Liv has to be controlling Alec. There is no other explanation. He isn't safe from her and when I made him mad, I probably make him weaker, making it easier for Liv to control his mind.

People might call me insane for this, but I know my sister. I might have not grown up with her, yet she is deceiving.

I got halfway up the stairs when I was stopped.

"Miss? What are you doing? You cannot leave. You're the 9th, we must protect you."

He continued to move forward, making me move back down the stars, almost tripping and falling.

"You can't tell me what to do. Now get out of my way!" I demanded.

I kicked him and he hunched over.

"Protect me, my butt."

Running up the stairs, I knew I should tell an. But, he'd only say it's too dangerous to face Alec. Yet, I still ran up the stairs. This might be a bad idea, but who cares anyways. I have stuff that can keep me living for the next few weeks. If I'm correct that she is controlling Alec, he will be close by, for that last kill.

Hopefully, they don't know I'm gone. I cannot get as close as I was to losing Ian in the battle before.

I walked through the woods for hours, trying to find a way out of this looping woods, when I heard crumpling of leaves in the distance. Pulling a gun out of my waist satchel, my eyes darted around the woods.

"Who is there?"

No one answered. But, there was still the crumpling of the leaves.

"Don't make me say it again! Who is there? I won't hold myself back."

"I don't think you want to know who it is?" the person replied.

"Tell me who you are!" I demanded.

"If you say so."

In a blink of my eye, Alec was standing in front of me. I stepped back pointing the gun to his face.

"You will not win, Liv."

"Oh, you know. That's okay. It won't stop me from getting my revenge, sister. This is what our father wanted, he wanted you dead. Now that urge grows stronger every day."

"Not strong enough to stop me," I ordered.

"Are you sure about that?"

My hands were trembling, my face dripping in sweat, and my heartbeat throbbing in my head.

"Get out of my life, Liv." I trembled.

"Not until you die first."

I knew I couldn't fight her. There is too big of a chance of my death. Running, I saw the entrance tree.

Placing my hand on it I screamed, "Open up! It's Aleah! Help!"

The entrance buzzed. Liv was coming closer and closer. I started pacing around until it opened. I ran down the stairs and slammed the door behind. Breathing heavy, I sat down on the stairs.

"Ian! Ian!" I yelled.

Running down the stairs, I went to the 'Lab 407.'

"Ella. Remember that .0000000001% chance of my sister doing something with the part of her mind that you cannot control? Well, she is doing something. Something bad."

"What?" Ella questioned.

"She is controlling my best friend. He is Liv's body that she is using to get revenge on me."
