"Where is Ella?"
"Ella is here. She hasn't seen you in forever, I bet she would like to see you."
"I want to see her as well."
"ELLA!" Ian's mom yelled.
She looked just as Ian described her, but a little bit more depressed than I thought. That was until she saw him. Then her face lit up, it looked as if she had just seen a ghost, but a happy version of that.
"Ian? Oh my god! I thought you were dead!"
Ella was a bit shorter than Ian, but that didn't stop her from hugging the life out of him.
"Ella, I... missed you... so much." Ian stuttered.
They broke out in tears still hugging each other tightly.
"Don't leave me again."
"I won't." Ian confessed.
Letting go of each other, they sat down at the kitchen table.
"Ella, we need your help."
"You don't even need to ask me. I know what happened. Since you left, I spent my entire life finding out why you never came back."
"You know?"
"Yes, to prove it, that girl next to you isn't your friend that you met. She is the, 9th. The strongest child of power. You are the one who needs to protect her. That's why you never came back."
"Um, yeah. Do you have powers?"
"Nope. Remember, somebody has to die for your power. It just happened that the power came to you. The only person who can get power without someone dying is the 9th and her family."
Ian was shocked about his sister's findings. She really didn't forget about him.
"So, will you help us?"
"For sure! I have been waiting for this moment my entire life."
Ella ran up the stairs and came back with a pouch of weapons around her waist and other things like the gun hanging from her back. Her hair was tied up in a high ponytail with a few baby hairs sticking out. She had a jean jacket filled with extra bullets.
"I'm ready."
I looked at her and saw a vile of green liquid in her pocket.
"What is in that vile?" I asked.
"Oh, it's a serum I made to stop from you guys or someone evil from controlling my mind. Simple stuff like that can really put me and you guys in danger. You two don't need to worry about it because you have the powers. Mortals like me have to stay safe when it comes to magical stuff like that. I did my research."
"What about mom and dad? Do they know about this?"
"I think they know now. Since they are standing right next to you."
"Oh yeah." Ian laughed.
Ella walked out to the front of the house with a car key.
"Ella where are you going? There is no car?"
"Are you sure about that?"
She clicked the car button and a car appeared. Out of thin air it seemed.
"This is my new prototype. I have been working on a few things, waiting for this day to come. I'm not dumb, you know."
She opened the car doors, and I got in the front seat. Ian sat in the back.
"In one click of this button, the car and us, will look invisible to the naked eye."
Honestly, I was not expecting Ian's sister to be like this. I thought she was going to be a little closed off, like Ian, but she seems so brave and courageous. Ian was right, she is like a warrior princess. He was also wrong though. Ian did not kill her beauty, he made it stronger.
"Where are we going exactly?"
"We are going to your headquarters. The headquarters of the 9th."
"How are you supposed to get in? You don't have a power."
"Same way the doctor does that took you. I'm a mortal warrior for you guys. Again, I told you I know things."
Hitting the gas, we sped off to the headquarters.
