The front door opened as Ian kept screaming for me. Yet, I did not stop. He may think this is best for me to stay, but I say different.
If I don't go, I will live with the guilt my entire life that I could save him, but never chose to.
That is something I don't want to do.
Walking back I turned my head around watching Ian running after me. I let to headquarters and went into a sprint, running as far out of the woods as I could.
My breathing was heavy.
My heart was racing.
It felt like as if my legs were moving at 100 miles per hour. They were cramping up, but I knew I had to continue running to catch the last train before it leaves.
I ran at the same pace for about a hour before I found the train station. I paid for the car and hopped in.
Still no sign of Ian. I must have lost him.
Now let's hope I can save Alec. Otherwise I will need saving myself.
Who knows what Liv could be doing with the mind of Alec.
But, who really knows? This situation is crazy enough. Like what 15 year old has to battle her evil sister with a power that they share over a boy who your sister is controlling? Very little I believe.
Though, this is my life so, this train ride will be my only break. That is if it's not stopped by Liv. Hopefully, not.
Knowing my sister, she probably would. Just to see the faces of the people pleading and dying in her sight.
Just the thought of that gives me chills down my spine.
Liv is like the devil of this decade. Other people might not understand, but she is.
I took a sigh of fresh air and drifted off into a deep sleep.
I opened my eyes, but not in the train.
It was a dark black room filled with nothing other than air.
Pulling the gun out of my pocket I was prepared for anything. Walking into the darkness was Liv, in Alec's body.
"How are you doing that?" I questioned.
"What? Using my power? Oh yeah. I told you I was powerful enough. You can't even stop me when I am in a mortal's body. Pathetic..."
My hands are shaking, sweat dripping off my face. I am pathetic, but I can't show that.
Liv comes closer.
She whispered into my ear, "I'll be waiting for you, sister."
Then she disappeared into thin air.
Opening my eyes, someone was shaking me awake.
"Miss? Miss? Your stop is here. Please exit the cart."
Startled and a bit embarrassed, I stood off and got off the train.
I am only a few blocks away from my house. Knowing I had to get back home I tried running, but it was as if my body has froze.
Frozen with fear.
I'm all alone, fighting a person who was supposed to be dead, and trying not to hurt my best friend in the process.
I wonder what Ella and Ian are doing? Are they trying to follow me? Hopefully not. If they do, I will feel guilty putting them in danger.
Taking a breath of air, I bolted off towards my house. I'm not just going to go there and fight, I'm going there to spy. Let's see how much information I can find out about this little deal my sister has with Alec.
The run was about 20 minutes to my house, but that didn't stop me from getting there. I ran into my front door and out my back door to hide in the bushes.
Grabbing the listening device out of my bag, I saw Liv. I squatted down and listened in.
She hopped out of Alec's body, standing right in front of him. That was when I got a text from Ella telling me that Liv had escaped.
I ignored the text as Liv began to speak.
"So, Alec, if you really want to get revenge on Aleah. It is your time to join me and take her down. For all of the pain she has caused you. I will give you unlimited powers that you can't even imagine if you do one thing. Help me kill Aleah."
"Happily."
