Corbyn pov:
That annoying little boy Zach, had to run his mouth to daisy about me and for that he will pay. Stupid boy didn't know I was walking right behind him in the hallway.
And he fucking told daisy to stay away from me! I don't want her to stay away from me. I don't know what it is but something about her is different and I want to find out.
So when it was time for lunch I found Zach in the main hallway probably on his way to lunch. I grabbed him by the back of his shirt collar and threw him to the ground. His eyes were bugged out of his head and he was terrified. He didn't get a chance to say anything before I was on top of him and throwing punches. Zach got one good hit in before he was out and I was still throwing punches. A crowd had formed around us a while ago and students laughed and chanted for me only furthering my want to punch Zach repeatedly.
As I was punching Zach I heard the crowd fall silent. I didn't know why but I didn't stop. I pulled my arm back to punch Zach, who was already knocked out, again. But I never landed that punch because two small hands found there way to my wrist and pulled back on it away from Zach. "Leave him alone." She yelled. It sounded like daisy. I easily could have gotten my hand from her grip but instead I looked at her and it indeed was Daisy. Only once had some intervened on a fight I was in. It was a teacher and right after he did he was on the floor and I was fighting him. So it was no surprise it was dead silent around us. Everyone was waiting for my reaction. But instead of putting up a fight I stood up from over Zach and stepped towards her. Only inches from her.
Her mad face was adorable. The way her nose was scrunched and her glare. We both just stood there staring in silence. The name daisy suited her. She was the definition of a daisy.
Daisy's are white and yellow. White represents purity and yellow happiness. Just looking her I could tell that was true. Although at the moment she didn't seem happy I knew she was an overall happy person.
Her skin is a fair white and her hair a golden blonde much like a daisy. Her eyes were a sparkling light blue and her nose had a few freckles on them. She was beautiful. She was a daisy.
We stared at each other a while in silence everyone's eyes on us watching, waiting. She blinked a few times before her eyes traveled from mine to my hand. I watched her face scrunch up in disgust before she looked back at me and shook her head. And with the disapproving shake of a head she turned away from me and moved towards a limp and bloody Zach.
I stood there a moment longer watching her. Everyone in the crowd was watching me; still waiting for me to explode, but I didn't give them that, instead I turned around. Everyone quickly jumped out of my way making a path, probably afraid they would be my next victim. But no one would be a victim, not now, not in front of daisy.
I stormed out of the school and to my bike. I hopped on and rode towards Home.
I've heard the rumors about me but they are just rumors. You can't believe everything you hear. Although most of it may be true I'd rather her hear them come from me. I don't want her image of me already getting ruined before we've even talked.
I'm not a great guy sure, but I would be great to Daisy. I already know I want her in my life.
I walked into the house and went straight to my room. I threw myself on the bed and closed my eyes. I need to calm down.
Daisy pov:
Once the crowd disbursed with their mumbled words about me and what I'd done Kara helped me bring Zach to the nurse. We laid him on a bed and the nurse cleaned off the blood that dried from his nose.
I lost all appetite and so did Kara so we sat with Zach in his curtain enclosed room.
"What were you thinking?" Kara said sitting beside me as I looked at Zach.
"I couldn't just stand there and watch him get beaten to death. He wasn't stopping and I was taught to help those who can't help themselves." I said turning to look at her.
She raised her hands in defense, "You are crazy girl. Only one person has ever stopped him in a fight and they ended up on the ground. And it was a teacher! I don't know why he just looked at you and did nothing." She said shaking her head.
"What is his problem?" I asked
"Well he has very bad anger issues." Kara said.
"No, there's got to be more to it than that," I said trying to think of a reason.
"It's said that he is in a gang." Kara said.
"A GANG?" I yelled surprised and Zach woke up.
All thoughts of Corbyn were pulled from my mind when Zach woke up. Thank god he was okay. I stood up and looked him over.
"What are you doing here?" He asked sitting up grabbing his nose.
"Are you Okay?" I asked
"Yeah I'm fine." He said swinging his legs over the side of the bed.
"What happened? Why did he hit you?"
"I don't know he didn't say anything he just threw me on the ground and then started punching me. I literally have no idea why he hit me." Zach said standing up.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah" He said grabbing his phone and bag. "Shit I'm missing lunch." He said and ran out the door towards the cafeteria.
Kara and I shook our heads and left the nurses office.
The rest of the day was uneventful and I didn't see Corbyn at all. Zach continued to walk me to all my classes and we talked a little more. Neither of us understood why Corbyn hit him though.
