*Logan’s POV*
I sighed with frustration when as I opened the fridge and scanned its contents. I was even more disappointed when I opened the freezer. There was nothing to eat in the house and Addie just got home not a couple of hours ago.
I took her up to her room and helped her unpack and get settled back in. I wanted to spend more time with her, but even though she was ecstatic to see me, she wanted to be alone for a while. So I told her I would cook dinner and then come back upstairs to get her; there’s nothing to eat though.
Maybe we could go out-no, we really can’t. Even though I cleared up so much confusion on tour with shows and interviews, people still looked at me weird on the streets and Addie’s twitter (which I started managing while she was gone) is still getting hate. Yes I hate the fact that a Rusher did this to us, and I don’t like that I know who did it, but Bree has been forgiven regardless.
But there’s nothing in the house. Damnit! My conflicted feelings and over protectiveness are clashing so much that my heart and my brain hurt. Fuck it. I’ll go out and shop for something. I walked up the stairs and went into my room to get my wallet and keys that were sitting on my bedside table.
I then made my way over to Adele’s room. I knocked quietly on the door in case she was resting, but after a few seconds I noticed a muffed noise and realized she was messing around with her guitar. I walked in and smiled as I watched her get frustrated over not being able to tune it right. “Want me to call Kendall?” I asked her with a playful tone and a chuckle.
“No, I know what I’m doing. But ugh, it’s just in such bad shape,” she says.
“How? Nobody’s touched it,” I comment.
“Exactly. I don’t know either,” she muttered.
“Well I’m going to go grocery shopping; we are completely out of food. Do you want to come with me?” I asked her.
“No,” she said with what sounded like a cross between a sigh and a yawn, “I think I’m going to sleep a while, actually.”
“Is there anything you want?”
“Everything.”
I laughed. “Well that’s specific.”
“Well eating institution food is suckish. I need carbs, sugar, butter, sugar, junk food, marshmallows, candy, Red Bull-”
“Slow down there,” I said trying to contain a laugh. If I hadn’t cut her off she’d probably had gone on forever. How about you just text me a few things you want when you decide on it, okay?” I tell her handing her, her phone, which was sitting on a table that was near the door.
“Okay that’s good too,” she said.
“I’ll be back soon, baby girl,” I told her as I started out her room.
“I’ll be fine,” she told me.
“Okay,” I said, confirming what she said as truth even though on the inside I was so reluctant to leave her alone.
