A/N: I am so sorry that this took me so long to get to! I'm here now, I'm on break at the moment so I will try my hardest to update both this book and my Clocks book to the best of my ability and as often as I can/feel like.

Anyway, above is some Malec, as always, along with One Day from Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

"Magnus, why are you dragging me along to this again?" Alec grumbled as Magnus literally dragged Alec down the street.

"Because if this goes bad, I need my big, strong Shadowhunter by my side to help me." Magnus grinned. Alec huffed.

"You couldve asked Jace, you know. He's more... acquainted with this scene."

"Well, Alexander, maybe it's good. You know I like to have parties every now and then and I would like you to get used to it." Magnus smiled softly, stopping and turning to his Shadowhunter. He placed a gentle hand on Alec's cheek. "Please, love?"

In the building beside them, music was blaring. Alec was being dragged to a Downworlder rave. He had business with the owner and was renowned for going back on deals so Magnus needed someone to help out if it went sideways. Hence, Alec.

"I promise well be in and out, not staying any longer than necessary."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

With a sigh, Alec nodded and was carefully pulled into the building where he was immediately met by loud music, making it harder to hear Magnus send instructions his way.

"Stay where I can see you," he shouted in Alecs ear. "And keep an eye on me. If I beckon you, I need you. Got it?"

"Understood," Alec replied, received a kiss on the cheek from Magnus before the two parted. Alec beelined for the bar and sat down, ordering a beer, he swivelled, tried to look casual as he watched Magnus carefully.

However, their plan was foiled when a drunken fey jumped in front of Alec, practically sitting on his lap. Startled, Alec pushed her off, desperate to keep his vision on Magnus. She was quick to stand and sit, a little to close, on the bar stool next to him.

"Hello, sexy." she slurred, leaning forward and placing a hand on his arm. Alec shook her off, his face heating up with embarrassment.

"Sorry, I'm, uh, taken," he said, loud enough for her to hear.

She giggled. "What she doesnt know wont hurt her."

"I'm... I'm not... You know... Into girls..." he stammered out.

She giggled again. "Don't worry. I can turn anyone straight. Come on, lets get out of here."

She started to drag Alec up but Alec retaliated, pulling his arm out of her grip and flicked his glance to Magnus. He wasn't there. Panicked, Alec glanced around, hoping that he hadn't left, getting the wrong idea about the fey girl. She grabbed him again.

"Fine, have a drink first." she grinned. Hesitantly, Alec raised the glass to his lips, not wanting to offend her. Only to be stopped by a hand removing the glass from his hand and an arm wrapped around his waist. Startled, Alec looked up to see a pissed looking Magnus. Relief washed over him.

"Hey, darling. Everything alright?" he asked.

"Yes. How'd the deal go?"

"Without a hitch. Who's this?" He gestured to the aghast fey.

"I don't know."

"Was she bothering you?"

Alec paused, his face heating up before nodding sheepishly.

"He was going to come with me. We were going to have an amazing night."

"Oh were you now?" Magnus drawled, turning to look at the Shadowhunter he was holding with a surprised look on his face.

"I tried to push her off. I just didnt want to hurt her." Alec mumbled.

Magnus leaned down to Alecs ear. "I know. Look at my finger." he breathed. Alec glanced down at the hand holding Alecs beer. One of his fingernails was a different colour. What-

He then remembered the conversation he had with Magnus earlier, before they left for the party.

"How much was it?!" Alec had cried.

"Twenty. Its special, though." Magnus replied nonchalantly.

"What is special about nail polish?"

"Watch this."

Magnus magicked up some water and a packet of something. He tipped the packet into the water and then mixed it up with his finger.

"What was that?"

"It was a sedative drug. Commonly known as the rape drug." Magnus explained and pulled his finger out of the drink and held it up to Alec. The colour used to be pink. Now it was black.

"Oh my..."

"Yeah. Be more careful next time."

Magnus straightened up and turned back to the fey. "Two things. One, I dont appreciate you trying to drug my boyfriend and two, he's mine and, you see, I'm selfish. I don't like sharing what's mine."

Magnus placed the drink on the counter, told the bartender to throw it out immediately and dragged Alec out of the club. Once outside, Magnus dragged Alec around the side of the club and roughly threw Alec against the wall, kissing him roughly. Alec didnt retaliate, tangling his hand in Magnus's hair.

After a few moments, Magnus pulled back. Alec smiled, panting lightly. "You're not jealous, are you?" he teased.

Magnus growled lowly in his throat before attacking his boyfriends neck. Alecs head leaned back against the wall, his eyes slipping closed.

"I get jealous if someone tries to take whats mine away from me," Magnus mumbled into Alec's neck. Magnus removed a hand from Alec's hips and clicked his fingers, a portal appearing beside them. Magnus raised his head from Alec's neck and grinned. "You still want to have an amazing night?"

Alec chuckled. "Oh god yes."

Magnus pulled Alec through the portal and into his apartment. "Good."

Magnus pulled Alec into the bedroom, shutting the door behind him.
