"Why are you here?"

"That's what I'm supposed to say! Why are you in my house even though you're a guy?!"

"..."

Why did he make an expression like that?

"You let Sam in your house but not me?" He asked with a sad expression.

What is this guy saying?

"What'd you meant by that? I asked.

"Sam called you when you were sleeping and I was knocking on your door. Since you never answered the door, I came in myself and saw the call so I answered it. Sam said he realised that he left something behind."

"Ah... No wonder why I have two look-alike notebooks here."

He made a sad expression again and was staring at my door.

"But we were just studying together for the examination. That's all," I explained to him.

"But Sam is still a guy!" He yelled.

Awkward silence.

"Why'd you even yell at me?"

"Because you're a girl. You have to be careful, even if he is your close friend."

"Alright... Don't worry."

He's acting weird. Why'd he get mad just for that? I mean... He's just a neighbour.

"Jil?"

"O-oh? Yes?" I replied, realising I had been spacing out.

"FriendStory?" He asked with a nervous smile.

I guess he felt a little guilty for yelling at me.

"Alright! Let's finish that event!"

"Wait... Jil... I just realised something..."

"What is it?"

"Isn't today a Monday?" He raised his eyebrows.

"I'm taking a day off."

"Ha?!"

"To be honest... I'm don't really feel so well..."

"You should've told me earlier! Go and have a rest."

"A-alright... I'm sorry..."

"What are you saying, you silly girl?" He said, rubbing my head.

"If you're not well, just rest. You don't have to force yourself," he said with a smile.

"Alright..."

I slept for hours. However, I woke up at the sound of my ringtone.

I answered the phone.

"Witch! What were you doing?!"

"Ha?"

"I really hate you! Ugh! Why do I even have a daughter like you?!"

Why... What have I done this time?

"Hurry up and open the door, witch!"

I hung up and opened the door.

I got slapped in the face.

"What were you doing, witch?!"

"What...?" I asked with a confused look.

"I really hate coming here, but you witch need to take care of your little sister."

"Why?"

"Stop asking so much questions. I'll pick her up tomorrow morning at 9 sharp. Don't be late, witch."

"O-o," before I managed to answer her, she slammed the door at me.

I sighed.

"Why...?" I looked at Sylvie at the verge of crying.

I don't hate her, nor do I hate mom. I'm just... Tired.
