"S-sam??" I asked, dumbfounded.

"Ermm.. Yea. Hi, Jil," he replied while scratching the back of his head.

"You're Vinc?"

"Yea."

I... Really have no other words to say...

"Prove it."

"You told 'Vinc' yesterday about me."

"... Okay. You're Vinc..."

"But... What about that important person?" I asked.

"Don't you get it?"

"Get what?"

"You're my important person," he smiled.

I blushed.

He just smiled at me, not saying anything. He held my hand and strolled around the park.

"But... Why though?" I asked.

"Why what?"

"Why... Didn't you tell me that you're Vinc if you knew it was me all along?"

He suddenly stopped and asked me to sit on the bench.

He then took a seat beside me.

"Actually, I never knew it was you from the start. But as we grew closer and talked more, I realised it was you after talking to you at school," his face turned from bright to gloom.

"You must be disappointed because I'm this type of person..."

"No! Not at all! It's just..." He started to blush.

"Because it's you," he added.

"I was afraid I'm not good enough for you, Jil."

"Sam... I know that you're a good person. You're smart, kind, handsome. Very popular at school. You're beyond my reach, but we're close friends. I considered you as my close friend though... You're the only one that I talk to the most in our school."

"Jilly... But... I like you. Can we be more than just friends?" He asked, looking straight into my eyes.

"I..." I hesistated.

"Sam is my close friend... I don't want to lose our friendship. And I already like Vincent. I don't want to hurt you," I can feel myself tearing up.

Sam said nothing and just hugged me. He patted my head just like how Vincent did. But his hands, are very warm.

"It's okay. I'll give you time to consider. But I can guarantee you that if you date me, I'll always make you smile, because I love your smile. You can use me to forget about that guy. You saw, didn't you? He has a girlfriend. You wouldn't want to ruin a person's relationship, right?"

"T-true..."

"Let's get some ice cream."

"You sure do like ice cream, don't you?" I chuckled.

"Because it's your favourite."

That's sly... Making me blush so easily. Maybe if I date Sam, I could forget about Vincent...

"One ice cream, please."

"Here you go."

"Thank you!"

"You're not going to buy another ice cream, Sam?"

"Nope. I bought it for my someone important," he smiled.

"Geez. Atleast have a bite."

Unknowingly, we both shared a bite at the same time.

I accidentally dropped the ice cream out of shock.

"S-sorry, Sam! It wasn't on purpose."

"You're so fun to tease. I did it on purpose though."

"W-what?"

All of a sudden, he pecked my lips.

"H-huh?!"

He sticked out his tongue like a child.

"That's on purpose too. I don't plan to apologise though," he said that and walked away.

"M-my... First kiss," I mumbled while touching my lips.
