A lot has changed after a week without Vincent had passed ever since 'that' incident.
Firstly, our friendship. We never met each other nor contacted via FriendStory or discord. He's probably mad at me for being rude to him. But I guess it's better this way. I've gotten used to not seeing the familiar silhoutte which I used to notice everyday.
Secondly, Sam and I. He asked me out again, and I accepted. Why? Well... Sam said he knew that I still like Vincent, but he will try his best to make me forget my feelings. Since Sam wants it, might as well try. No harm trying.
Third, my life. I lied. I'm not used to not hearing his voice, his scent, his silhoutte. Whenever I went out, I'd look at his house, wondering if he was home. But sadly, he isn't.
Sam said that if I don't muster up my courage and confess to Vincent, I'd regret it... Even though I denied, saying I wouldn't, but I did. Although... I pray for his happiness, every day. Every second, every minute, every hour. If he is happy, I'm happy.

Someone knocked on my door. I opened the door and a postman is standing in front of me with a parcel.
"Miss Jilly Evergreen?"
"That's me."
"Please sign here," he pointed to the place and passed the paper to me.
I signed and brought the parcel in.
"What's this?"
I opened up and I was surprised. It's a necklace that I saw at the park with Vincent. Did he bought it for me?
*flashback*
"Wow! The necklace is nice though."
"Huh? Isn't that just a plain necklace with a four leaf clover shape thingy?"
"Tsk. Do you know what does a four leaf clover mean?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"It means luck! Whomever found four leaf clover, will be lucky!" I explained in excitement.
"Geez," he looked away.
I checked the price tag and to my surprise, this necklace costs 50$?!
"That's expensive," Vincent finally spoke.
"True," I agreed to his statement.
I put it back and just asked Vincent to continue strolling.
*end of flashback*
"He... Bought it for me?" I murmured, with my eyes teary.
"I don't think I can give up on him..."
The door of the evelator opened, and it was Vincent, standing in front of me.
Things are awkward. We awkwardly stare at each other until Vincent noticed the necklace.
"So... You've received it, huh?"
"Yea."
"That's good," he said, while rubbing his hair.
"Yea," I replied in a sad tone. My tears started to roll down my cheeks as I try to control it.
"Jil? Why are you crying?"
"Because I miss you, idiot!" I can't take it anymore and finally confessed. I really miss him a lot.
"Silly girl," he said that as he came closer and hugged me.
"I miss you too," he whispered.
"What about your girlfriend?" I asked in a sad tone.
"Girlfriend?"
"Yea. That girl."
"She's not my girlfriend. She's my sister."
"Huh?"
"I guess you misunderstood," his hand is patting my head.
"B-"
"-I don't have a girlfriend."
"O-oh," I lightly pushed him away.
Him being too close is bad for my heart.
"But I heard that you're dating Sam?"
"True..." I kinda regretted my decision now.
"If he makes you cry, tell me. I'll punch him in the face," we both laughed.
Although I'm laughing, I feel like crying in his arms. The person that I like thinks that I like someone else. But it's my fault. Why am I such an idiot?
"I'll see you soon, Jil. Bye," he smiled and rubbed my hair.
"B-bye..."
Vincent... I like you.
