Chapter 12 Discovered

"We found them, you highness," the messenger said after bowing.

"Well where are they?"

"On Earth six hundred years into the future. Siofra showed herself to the girl and our seers caught it."

"The girl has the Pendant, your highness and they have a second one too." The First Lord said.

"WHAT!"

"They have no idea how to use it. We found another Puca willing to help. His name is Leman and he knows Siofra, they have an old score to settle," the First Lord continued.

"What does he want?"

"Siofra of course and eternal life your highness."

"Tell him I grant it and send him off. Tell him he can do what he likes with Siofra, then turn her over to me for her reward. Siofra your lying days are numbered. Soon all the pendants will be mine, and the power of the god's"

"I really don't want to go back to school!" Rosemary said as she tried on her uniform in front of the full length mirror in her room.

"But you like school," Aednat said softly.

"I've had so much fun this summer, I love having a sister." Aednat hugged her.

"I love you to Rosie."

"Aednat, I want you to try this on," David said after he knocked then entered Rosemary's room carrying a bundle of clothing.

"A uniform, I don't need a uniform."

"If you want to try school you will need a uniform."

"I'm a married lady Davey and almost eighteen now."

"Not yet, nine months to go until your eighteen. Grandma talked to the nuns, you will be allowed to attend. I don't think she mentioned you were married."

"I don't have a proper birth certificate."

"You do now, well not a proper one but I had a cousin who died shortly after her birth, and the death was never registered so Aunt Margaret gave to us the birth certificate. Your birthday is now the same as Rosie's. You'll love your name, Aedan Carol Hendersen. Will told everyone you prefer Aediy as your nickname."

"Hey Rosie, we're twins again."

"We can work a bit on our story," Rosemary said. "We can say you were home schooled on your island. This is going to be a fun year."

"Your friends know I'm married to Davey."

"I don't think so. They won't spill the beans if they do, this will be my best prank ever."

"The sisters said you two can have the same classes, they are aware Aediy has never attended school. They see it as a challenge," David said.

"Well Nit put on your uniform," Rosemary said, "I want to see you in it."

"Davey, who's paying for my school?"

"Grandma Gert. She loves you Nit."

"How will I get to school?" Aednat asked.

"Dad or I will drive you. On warm days you can walk home."

"Let's try out for field hockey together Nit."

"OK, we played that this summer with your friends. I don't want to wear shoes."

"We'll talk about that," Rosemary said laughing.
