D.R. POV.
Me and my sister arrived late at night at The Agency. It was about 2 am and all I wanted to do was sleep.
"Welcome to The Agency agents D.R. and B.R. From this moment forward, others than your teammates will be calling you by your initials, and you will address everyone other than your teammates with their initials." a man in a suit and sunglasses told me and my sister.
Annoying little shady guys. Why would someone willingly wear sunglasses in the dark, at night.
Help, me, god if I ever decide to become one of these shady guys.
"Agent P.L. will show you to your temporary residence." The man who seemed to be in charge and whom everyone called Chief said while we walked up to the entrance of The Agency. "You will meet your team, Omega 1, tomorrow morning. You will be leaving on your first mission at noon, so don't sleep in."
I didn't respond but my sister muttered something that sounded like 'yes sir', but I was too tired to pay attention to anything right now.
I felt someone nudge me and turned to look at my sister in irritation. She cocked her head towards Agent P.L. who was looking at me with a questioning look on his face. I looked at Brooke with furrowed brows feeling confused about why I was suddenly the centre of attention. She just looked at me with raised eyebrows waiting for my anwser just like Agent P.L. was.
"I'm sorry. Did you ask something?" I asked wondering if I had missed something important.
"Yeah, I asked if you would like me to show you around the building before we head to your temporary residence."
"Sure, just as long as it's short 'cause I'm like seriously ready to lay down right here and drift off to wonderland." I anwsered his question with my usual attitude. But you know what, fuck the world if it can't handle my amazingly polite attitude. Ain't my problem.
Okay. Now I'm trailing off again with my toughts. Why does this always happen?
"Okay, I'll just show you the main parts of The Agency." He said as he started walking up the broad steps to the row of at least eight glass doors and pushed one of them open.
As we entered we saw many agents talking to each other, some were yelling at someone on the other side of a phone, a few were in combat gear rushing in and out of the glass doors. We walked straight past multiple desks with people sitting infront of their computers typing away on their keyboards. We walked past a huge room filled with screens, and I assumed it was the security control room. We arrived at the elevator and got in. There were a few other agents in there but I didn't know anyone in here apart from The Chief, Brooke and Agent P.L. so I didn't bother trying to get to know them since there were propably hundreds of agents in this building and they propably didn't give a single fuck about who we were.
I was snapped out of my toughts as the elevator made a ding sound as it arrived on the floor we were to get off on.
Agent P.L. stepped out first, then Brooke, then me. We walked down a well lit hallway that was between the floor length windows and a wall that had about five doors on it.
"In this hall you can find different training rooms for different purposes, from martial arts to shooting ranges." Agent P.L. said as we walked down the hallway. You could hear the sounds of muffled gunshots through the sound proof walls. We didn't go inside any of the rooms, instead we continued our little tour through The Agency building. Agent P.L. showed us where we could find different types of diners and the armory and the main control room, as well as The Chief's office.
After the tour P.L. showed us to our 'temporary residence', as he would call it, so we could get some rest before our first mission tomorrow at noon. Oh, and of course meeting our team Omega 1.
