I picked up the white object and turned it on to see that there was one unread message from an unknown number.

I couldn't wait here for you so I left this phone. I know this must be extremely confusing for you, but we need to set a time and place to meet at and I can explain everything to you. ~Kendrid

How do I know this cellphone isn't tracked or if I can even trust you? ~K

I didn't have to wait long for a response and Drayton came up behind me and looked at the screen over my shoulder.

"Is that really him?" He asked. "We can't trust him K."

"I know that Drayton and I don't know if it's really him, but right now I feel like we can trust him much more than almost anyone in The Agency, seeing as we know nothing about how many people Chief has already convinced to join the Division." I said as I started reading the response.

I know it will take time for you to trust me, but it is me sis, ask me anything that only I would know the answer to, something not even our father would know the answer to. ~Kendrid

Okay, where did you take me to take my mind off of our father one day after he beat us both while he was drunk? ~K

I know that that was a question no-one else would know the answer to except for Kendrid and I am 100% sure that he hasn't forgotten about it if he is telling the truth about still caring about me and wanting to help us, so if he gets this wrong, I know for sure it's not him and that I can't trust him.

It was on the seventh anniversary of our mother's death and I took you to my hideout and gave you your first motorbike ride. Afterwards that was all you would ever want to do, we had weekly races with some of my friends every Thursday dad was working late. I would never forget that day because of your reaction; you were so mesmerized by the adrenaline and thrill that driving gave you. ~Your brother

I felt my eyes tearing up with tears of happiness, which I haven't felt in a while.

It's him. He hasn't forgotten.

But most importantly, I can trust my brother again.

"Is it him?" Drayton asks.

I quickly remember that he was still here and wipe away the unshed tears from my eyes and turned to him with a small smile.

"Yeah. This doesn't only prove that it's him, but also that I can trust him all over again and that he wasn't lying in my 'dream'." I explained with a silly smile on my face and quickly typed in a response.

Meet me at the house today at 23.30 ~K

"Are you absolutely sure we can trust him?" He asked "I mean, it could all jut be a plot to bring us all down." He said.

"I know it probably seems weird of me to trust someone this easily after they betrayed me, but that memory means so much to me and he knows it. And he wouldn't remember that if I meant nothing to him." I explained.

Drayton still had a skeptical look on his face but still said "I'm only agreeing to this because I trust you and you have that adorably happy smile on your face." He said the last part with a smile which caused me to smile even wider at him, and with the sudden positivity and confidence I looped my arms around his middle and squeezed him tightly.

"Thank you for understanding me and for trusting me." I mumbled into his chest and he also put his arms around me.

"You have earned my trust, something not many people are able to accomplish. I didn't trust Christian entirely after the whole 'undercover' thing but after the story you told, he has my trust again." He said and we stood there in each others embrace for a minute too long and I quickly pulled away even though I immediately felt the need to be close to him again.
