The party had been going on for a few hours already and she was surprisingly having a good time even if the music playing throughout the house sucked but since she was hanging out with Chris, Lavender, and their friend Savannah she was having a pretty good time. Chris eventually had left early with Andrew and Savannah who was dressed as Cleopatra went off to dance with some St. Paul student so as a result me and Lavender where left alone sitting on the couch.
"Are you having fun" she asked
"Truthfully I am it's a really good way to spend Halloween, I'm really glad we came" I said honestly.
Lavender laughed "why do you like Halloween so much" she asked.
I thought for a moment
"Probably...because it's my birthday I guess" I shrugged.
Lavenders expression turned to shock as soon as I had finished my sentence.
"What!" she exclaimed
"It's my birthday" I said plainly
"And you're just mentioning this now"
"I didn't think it mattered much" I admitted.
Lavender stood up abruptly
"Excuse me I have to make an important phone call" she said as she pulled out her cell phone and stepped outside.
What the hell? I'm so confused.
So I sat there by myself for only a moment till a silver-blonde haired boy in a nice suit came and sat next to me.
"Hello Miss. Kingston I'm not sure if you remember me but my names Auburn, I'm Lavenders older brother" he smiled at me.
"Yes I remember you" I said plainly.
"I'm glad, are you enjoying yourself Miss. Kingston?" his voice was charming and alluring, it kind of made me feel uncomfortable
"Yeah I guess you can say I'm having fun, oh by the way just call me Harmony being called Miss. Kingston by someone around my own age is just kind of weird" I said bluntly
Auburn laughed before speaking
"Well you certainly do live up to your name Harmony"
What the hell was he talking about?
I was just sitting there staring at him blankly when lavender walked back into the room.
"Auburn" she said in an annoyed voice
"Ah just the person I was looking for. It was nice talking to you Miss. Harmony" then he got up and walked over to his sister
"Do you need something" she asked
"I'm just delivering a message. Mother wants us both home next weekend, she wants us to have a family dinner I guess also she says we can bring a few guests if we want I'm sure she will expect you to bring Madison along...but" he paused a moment to look back at me
"I'm assuming that won't be the case this time" he continued.
"Why couldn't she tell me this herself?" lavender asked suspiciously
"She could have but I thought you would rather have a conversation with me then one with her" he stated
"That was...very considerate of you" she said slowly.
Auburn just shrugged then walked away without another word to me or his sister.
Then Lavender sighed and came over to sit by me.
