Twelve

MABEL'S P.O.V

"Awwww babe. Come here" Katrina said with her arms open as I hopped into the taxi, thanking the driver. I obliged and embraced her warm body. I'm so lucky to have a best friend like her.

I couldn't stop myself from sobbing into her, getting her dress covered in water "I'm so sorry I'm doing this" I giggled through my tears.

"If anyone should be apologising its him." She told me.

"Thank you, for everything. I don't know what I'd do without you, you and Harry." I said to her as we walked into her quite house.

"Hun, you know it's nothing. We'd do anything for you, I hope you know that by now."

"Can you imagine, if we hadn't talked in our first English lesson this year, we wouldn't be having this conversation now!!!" She said. I suppose she's right.

My phone kept buzzing with many misses calls from him, but I just ignored them. I'm in no state to talk to him at the moment.

"Salty or sweet?" Kat called me out of my thoughts.

"What?" I asked sleepily. I hadn't really been paying attention for the last half an hour.

"What flavour popcorn do you want? or should I just do both?" she tried again, "yeah I'll do both." I could hear the popping of the corn but my mouth wouldn't function, I was replaying the events of earlier on over and over again.

"Ok so tell me everything." She asked, once we were sat on her bed with the Notebook playing quietly in the background.

I wasn't going to cry. I needed to be brave, accept the fact he didn't want me anymore.

"Ok, we left you lot in the kitchen to go and find Katie. On the way, Niall went to the toilet and I carried on looking for Katie. We said we'd meet outside the toilet once we were done, so that's where I went after I had talked to Katie. Normally when you go to the toilet you shut the door, don't you? Well the door was slightly open so I walked in. And then when I walked in, I saw two people sitting on the toilet on top of each other. I didn't know who they were, so I apologised and as I was about to walk out, they both turned around, and that when when I saw. I saw Elizabeth sitting on his lap kissing him."

By the time I'd finished, my face was covered in hot tears. All the way through the story, my phone was vibrating in my lap. Every time I checked, it was always him. By now, I'm sure Katrina's realised who it is.

"Oh my god babe. Are you actually being serious?"

"Then I just ran out and ran away from them as fast as I could, dodging through the people and then I ran into Harry and I was so happy to see him." I could see she was getting really into the story.

"Wow. I feel so bad. I should have been their, with you."

"I could hear Niall chasing after me and calling me but I just ignored him. I didn't want to see him or talk to him. Then Harry got me a taxi and I went straight home."

Just as I finished talking my phone rang. "It's Nadia?" I said once I'd checked. Why is she ringing me? I really hope she didn't find out.

"Oh my god Mabel how could you be such a bitch? Niall is here with us, he's called you numerous times and he's crying because you apparently ran out and left him. All he has ever done to you is loved you. " I dropped the phone and I cried even more. She obviously knows nothing.

Katrina grabbed the phone from my lap and started yelling through it to Nadia. "Nadia, Mabel left the party bawling her eyes out and you just made her cry even more. You don't know what Niall did to her this evening," She looked at me to check she could tell her. I just nodded, she's going to find out sooner or later.

"Mabel walked in on Niall and Elizabeth getting of in the bathroom."

She said bluntly through the phone, putting it on loud speaker so I could hear what Nadia had to say to me.

"What!? Did I just hear you correctly? She walked in on Elizabeth snogging Niall?" She asked. Now she sounded on my side. "Did he snog her back?"

"Well he told me that she forced herself onto him but I don't know what to believe." I spoke. I'd wiped my eyes and I'd stopped crying. Im really annoyed at Nadia though. She new nothing and she was calling me a bitch.

"Mabel, I'm so sorry for what I just said. I knew nothing about what had happened. I hope I didn't upset you." Wow, she hopes she didn't upset me. I'm here crying my eyes out and she hopes she didn't upset me.

"When I find Elizabeth I'm going to kill her. I can't believe that slut. Doesn't she know she's going out with Ryan. I have to go now. I'll ring you when I get home. " Nadia said and hung up.
