Twenty

It's now been ten weeks since the little, well actually quite big, incident.

Our last exam is on Tuesday and I'm so exited for prom next week. Me and mum went dress shopping yesterday, I got an emerald green maxi dress and we picked Niall a black suit and a tie to match my dress, I am expecting we will be going together!

"Good morning sunshine" Niall wrapped his arms around my torso. "Woah, you made me jump," I giggled, "what's made you so happy?"

"Ahh nothing, just got a little surprise for someone" he said excitedly, his piercing blue eyes looking straight into mine.

"Oh, and who's that special someone?" I asked, knowing exactly who he meant.

"Just come with me" he grabbed my wrist, physically dragging me through the corridor. Where the hell were we going.

"Where are we going?? I need to get to class in ten minutes!" I said, sounding very nerdy.

"Wait and see"

I knew exactly where we were going when we passed the courts.

"Awww!!! We're going..." just as I was about to finish, he shoved his hand over my mouth.

"Shhhhhhh! Don't spoil the surprise!" he giggled, "now shut your eyes" he grabbed hold of my wrist again.

We walked further and further away from the school,"Now, you can open them!"

"Oh Niall, this is beautiful, what's it for??" I asked, admiring the picnic he had carefully set out. Candles and food covered the red and white checkered blanket.

"I just wanted ask you," he stopped and breathed nervously, "if you wanted to go to prom with me?" he asked.

"Of corse I will!! Me and mum picked you out a suit and tie already!" I said, "as much as I love it, don't you think this is a bit extravagant?"

"I know, I'm really sorry. I was just really worried and nervous that you would say no!" he confessed.

I ran into his arms and hugged him tight, inhaling the strong smell of his cologne, "I love you so much, thank you so much for doing all of this."

"Mabel!! Hunny dinners ready!!" mum called up the stairs.

"Coming!" I yelled back. I had been in my room talking to Niall on Skype for the last three hours and I didn't realise how hungry I'd got.

"Ok I'll see you tomorrow babe. I have to go and have dinner now" I told Niall and ended the call.
