MABEL'S P.O.V
My eyes slowly fluttered open. I wasn't quite sure where I was. At first, all I could see was a white blur, but slowly my vision began to focus and I could take in my surroundings.
White clothes. White walls. White door. White floor. White room.
Hospital.
I managed to lift my body up without causing myself any more pain than I was in. I had an agonizing ache in my arm. I looked down at my wrist, a bright pink plaster cast was moulded around it and I couldn't feel my fingers.
I could feel my side was throbbing and it hurt to breathe in and out. I also noticed some bruising on my other arm and many cuts and grazes with small rivers of blood trickling from them.
I felt as if the air I was breathing in was some what fresher and lighter than usual. Reaching up to my face with my good hand, I felt a plastic breathing mask covering my mouth and nose, making my face feel tight and squeezed. I slowly pulled at the elastic around my neck and gently peeled the uncomfortable apparatus from my face, inhaling the real air through my nose.
Suddenly, I felt a touch to my sore wrist, causing me to wince in my pain.
"Oh God I'm so sorry" a smooth Irish accent drifted throughout my ears, I didn't even recognize that he was sitting right beside me.
"hey" I croaked gently, trying to sound happy, but not realizing how bad I actually sounded, "what's happened?"

NIALL'S P.O.V
"CALL AN AMBULANCE" I yelled over the noise of the loud crowd. By now, many of the fans had realized who I was and were beginning to scream and harass me, asking for signatures and photos. At the moment, they were the least of my worries.
"c'mon baby, plese wake up" I wispered into her hair so only she could hear me. Her eyes were softly twitching but there was no other movement apart from her slighty wincing when she breathed.
"someone please call an ambulance" I shouted again. Warm tears were starting to roll uncontrollably down my cold cheeks. I was holding her fragile body in my arms as gently as I could, trying not to put her through any more pain.
Her face had small trickles of blood running down it from different places. Her eye was a deep purple, very swollen and sore.
One of her pale hands were clutching her lower ribs and her other hand, well, it was quite obviously broken, laying flung at and twisted, almost lifeless at the side of her warm body.
What the hell had happened. All I could guess was that she was knocked out while trying to get to the building. She must have got trampled on when we were running through, how did no-one see her.
Soon enough, loud sirens were ringing throughout the car park, signalling the ambulance was making its way through the crowd.
"Okay, what's happened here?" a kind looking paramedic said as she got out of the cab, pulling on some sort of rubber protective gloves. She walked over and crouched down beside me, gently putting her fingers on Mabel's neck, checking her pulse.
"Right lets get you inside and cleaned up" she exclaimed as she put her arms under Mabel's body, while a man came out from the ambulance with a stretcher.
I wasn't sure whether I wanted to let her go. I wrapped my arms tighter around her shoulders, but the paramedics noticed. The nice lady looked up at me and gave me a reassuring smile, letting me know that Mabel would be in safer hands if I let her with them; after all, I did demand for this ambulance to be called.

Watching her lay in this bed is driving me insane. We've spent the past two nights at the hospital, waiting for her to awaken from her unconsciousness, each of us taking it in turns to sit in with her.
It's around 12:30 now, I've just come in from having lunch, while Harry was sitting in with Mabel.
Hospital food is never good but today's meal was reasonably acceptable, I'm not quite sure how much longer I can last in this place. It smells weird and its just not a nice place to be in. I guess the staff are nice enough, but I still want to get out as soon as we can.
Dr. Garington is hoping to let us go once she wakes, which he presumes will be within the next few hours, so he had her discharge papers ready on the bedside table.
I had left a big bouquet of roses at the end of the bed, Mabel's middle name is Rose, so I felt those were the appropriate flowers for her.
Katrina and the girls had been in pretty much all of the last two days, along with Harry and the boys, Mabel's mum and dad and myself, so we each had a fair amount time to rest in between our shifts.
I make it sound like a chore. Yes, it's draining, tiring and emotional to say the least, watching the love of your life lay almost lifeless in the bed but I love it. I love being able to sit with her for hours and just listen to the therapeutic sound of her heart beat on the monitor and to be able to hear the sound of her breathing.
Although she had a plastic piece of apparatus covering the majority of her beautiful face, she still looked stunning; her white lips and pale face reflected the dim lighting, making her look 100 times more alive, her gorgeous golden hair was perfectly placed around her head.
I could sit and observe her beauty for hours, in fact, that was exactly what I was doing.
Suddenly, her eyes began to slowly flutter open. Instantly my whole body lit up, sparks going off inside of me. She gently grabbed ahold of the mask on her face and pulled it from her neck. I didn't think she had realise I was in the room too.
"Oh God I'm so sorry" I said as I reached out to touch her hand, letting her know I was here, but forgetting that she had broken her wrist.
She winced in pain and pulled her hand into her body, scowling, but her features soon softened when she saw it was me who touched her.
"hey" She croaked gently, obviously oblivious to the fact that she had been unconscious for the past two days with a broken wrist and three cracked ribs.
"what's happened?" She asked, observing her surroundings.
* * *
"So I called the ambulance and it came really quick and there was this nice lady who helped you and then you got taken here and Dr. Garington looked after you for the last two days and..."
"Woah, easy tiger!" Harry interrupted me, signalling for me to slow down, "she's literally been awake for just over half an hour and you've already blown her brain!!"
We all laughed. Even Mabel, although I could tell she was in pain every time she moved her body, I could see her eyes were in agony but her mouth was smiling.
Nadia was drawing a funny cartoon on her cast and we were all laughing and talking, Dr. Garington came in for a bit and was laughing with us.
I squeezed her good hand tight and leant in to her ear so only she could hear me "I love you so much. Please never scare me like that again"
