"Ooooh it's amazing" she said in awe as we sat in the departure lounge, waiting to be called, watching the planes come in and out.

"Oh I forget you've never flown before" I said as I moved my body closer, putting my arm around her.

I could see the fear in her eyes, but she tried to cover it up, "I'm know, but I'm so exited. I can't wait."

"Flight IR24. Last call for flight IR24. All passengers aboard." The lady on the loud speaker called. By that time, we had already boarded.

"Please can we sit by the window??" She asked excitedly, but fear was evident in her voice.

"Sure, you can decide baby." I tried to relax her nerves, "remember we are only flying to Ireland, 1 hour at the most."

"Yeah I know. I'm fine" She said as we sat down in the two seats next to a window. Mum, dad and Greg sat on the other side of the plane, still visible to us.

"We will be taking off shortly. Please make your self comfortable and enjoy the flight. Thank you for flying with Air Lingus, Great Care, Great Fare." The loud speaker declared again.

Minutes later, the plane started to shake as we shot down the run way. Mabel's hand was squeezing mine so tight, I could barely feel it.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god." She said into my shoulder. I couldn't help myself from laughing at her, a few minutes passed and she stayed still, trying not to be sick.

"Shit, shit, shit!!!!! We are flying!!!!" she lifted he head and gazed in awe out of the window next to her.

"Niall, we're actually flying!!!!" she shouted and laughed, not realising that the majority of the plane was staring at her like she was a nutter.

We laughed for ages and it felt so good. It felt so good to just forget about everything, the audition, the old arguments, mum and dad's divorce, and just have fun with my favourite person in the whole world.

"Just run away and don't ever look back, don't ever look back" the headphones nearly fell out of my ear as I moved and opened my eyes to find her head on my chest and her body wrapped in my jumper.

I looked out of the window and instantly I recognised where we were, just about to arrive in City Dublin airport.

She looked so beautiful sleeping, but I had to wake her up. It had only been an hour and she looked sound asleep.

"Mabel, babe you need to wake up" I gently shook her, "we are nearly there."

Slowly, her gorgeous emerald eyes fluttered open, "what, where are we?"

"We are in Ireland"
