Friend,

A word that's familiar to all,

A person you keep by your side,

Who is always by your side,

Someone you can count on,

A person who laughs with you,

Talks to you,

Smiles with you,

Greets you happily,

Someone who misses you,

Fights with you,

Listens to you,

Hugs you,

Comforts you,

Someone who's always there.

A circle,

A ring,

A crowd,

A group of people I can never have,

Well, use to think I can never have,

Guess I was proven wrong,

That time wasn't slow or how the sun seems to glow--

Brighter and brighter,

A light that blinds the eye,

The heat that feels like acid

Burning here in my skin.

Under a shade of an old tree,

Tranquillity, peace and harmony,

Leaves start to dance as the cool breeze greets me,

Breath of fresh air, beneath the bright blue sky,

I start to marvel of how high the birds fly.

A wonderful world,

A remarkable existence,

A glorious experience,

Blessed with those who loved and lived,

Away from fear and greed,

Having kindness, where trust never sways,

Knowing friends are there, for you, always.

So thank you, for this extraordinary experience,

Sharing and writing,

Thus, it is time,

Though saying goodbye isn't my forte,

Still, it is better to say the last words than never,
