Daydreaming

Lounging on the passenger seat,
Concentrating on every chip I eat,
Looking out through the car window,
Simply wondering what you'll be, doing tomorrow.

I miss you,
I honestly do.

A sad song plays on the radio,
I lay on my seat and hum,
The music, I listen and nod,
My head feels numb,

Drowsiness is what engulfs me.

I miss your warmth,
And when you kissed my forehead,
I still can't forget the fluttering butterflies in my stomach,

Truthfully, I miss you.

I want to hug you,
Kiss you,
And cuddle with you all-day

I miss the times you'd caress my hand while I stroke your hair,

I miss it.

I miss you.

I wish I'd see you soon.

But when will that be?

How I keep yearning for your soft touch,

Your goofy smile,

That handsome face,

And your sweet voice that keeps calling my name.

I miss you.

But it's not easy for you to come back,

Until then, I will stay here and wait,

Sleep until the time comes,

I will always rememberer you, and us.

That even in my dreams,

And till this day I'll only think of you.
