{34} Never the Same

It was not same as before and nor it was going to be.
Both were working physically but mentally they were broken.
They never thought this would happen.
Anushka sat in her room after shoot looking at all those pictures of them together looking happy
Those were happy times Anushka thought staying close to him felt safe and holding hands with him felt like she could defeat anyone She remembered how he used to make her laugh and even laugh at her stupid jokes when she was not in a good mood he always use to cheer her up with his Punjabi accent and humour.
She knew that she had made a mistake but did she have the strength to correct it?

Virat stood scattered in his room after a hell of a practice session
He listened to the voice notes she had sent him again and again
And savoured her voice
He started looking deeply into each and every word and her way of pronouncing it.
When she was with him he felt like The King of the world.
He could tell her everything it was like she was his safe who never judged him or criticized him just gave out positivity and whenever he was sad she used to light up his world although since few days it was quite different but still she used to try hard enough.
He knew he had committed a big mistake but he just didn't knew how to correct it.

Meanwhile Anushka's friend Amy dropped in
"so how is it going now?"

"You can't be serious what do you mean by points" Anushka gave her a nasty look

"Well I spent the whole night researching about how to get over a break up "

"I literally read 100' of books okay! You see these dark circles under my eyes?"

"Yeah whatever"

"Well although you beat me at the dark circles" Amy joked

"Lets watch a movie girl. You remember that night you were really sad after coming home from that party and we had a movie and it worked magic"

Mention of the word Ex brought shivers to Anushka she didn't really got over Virat she was still in love

"I Don't know I should mention this or not but Anushka you really miss Virat and I can see it. Although it didn't end rather well but I think you should give it a rethinking I don't know it's on you"

"you are right let's watch a movie after all what's like a movie with your bestie" Anushka chuckled ignoring Amy's last words as she hugged Amy

"Okay so you choose which movie do you want to watch?"

"what about "50 days of Summer?" After thinking for a while Anushka said

"Perfect"

They started watching the movie but fell asleep in 2/3rd of it
Both of them were really tired even the interesting plot couldn't keep them awake.

While Virat was taking advise from Yuvraj and Shikhar about nurturing a heart break

"You know what Virat the mistake was all yours." Shikhar said

"Yeah you kinda blew it up bro like hitting the axe one one's on foot" Yuvraj sided

"Why the hell did I come to you guys for advise. I thought you guys were going to make me feel better but you are doing the exact opposite" Virat said making a sad face

"Common that's what are friends for making you realize your mistake" Shikhar said nudging Virat

Virat gave him an angry look

"Okay let's just watch a movie" Yuvraj said

"Sounds like a plan" Virat squeaked

"which movie Should we watch?
Umm What about Rab ne bana di jodi" Yuvraj teased

Virat gave him a silent stare

"Okay we can watch Band Baaja Baarat my all time favorite" Shikhar joined

"Let it be I don't want to watch a movie" Virat said

"Okay Dont get pissed of cheeks lets watch some Hollywood movie" Shikhar said

And Yuvraj played 'PS: I love you'

"I hate it from it's tittle itself" Virat commented

And as they started watching there was a scene where Gerry was kissing Holly

"That could have been you and Anushka bro if you hadn't blown it all up" Yuvraj teased

"its not too late Cheeks make it up she is perfect for you" Shikhar said

"Actually I don't want to watch any movie I am going to sleep" Virat said and went to his room
