"Happy early birthday!" Zac, Betty, Ed, Rob, Jenny and Danny shouted when Caroline entered the studio.
Her hand flew to her mouth laughing "This is amazing thank you guys." she hugged them
"We knew we finished voice overs today, so we thought we would give you an early birthday party. Just us cast members." Betty sweetly said as Caroline held on to her "It was more my idea then theirs."
"I appreciate all of this." Caroline kissed her cheek
"We got your favorite kind of cake, red velvet." Zac smiled moving out of the way to show the brilliant cake.
It was three squares high and had red icing with glitter. 'Happy 24th birthday Care!' was written in white glitter
"This is the cutest I have to tweet this." Caroline squealed getting her phone out handing it to Sarah who helped with the voice overs.
All the cast members were standing with Caroline and her cake smiling widely at her phone. When Caroline got her phone back she tweeted the pic '@Care_Taylor; all my beautiful cast members celebrating an early birthday with me. Thank you all for the good memories!'
"We are all invited to your real birthday party right?" Zac asked handing her a piece of cake
"If I'm having one then sure. Knowing James and Clara I'll be forced to have one." Caroline laughed picking at the cake
Zac eyed her watching her odd behavior, usually she was fun and bubbly but, today she was quiet "What's up Care?" he asked
"What are you talking about?" she asked smiling
"That fake smile won't work with me. Tell me what's bothering you." he demanded with a soft tone
Caroline sighed in defeat "I read the other day that James got a role in this movie. He's going to be gone for sometime."
"He's been gone before hasn't he?" he asked raising a brow
"This time it's different because I'm pregnant. And he'll be surrounded by gorgeous skinny actresses and I'll be gaining weight." She set her plate down on the table
Zac rubbed his face "Wait,wait just a minute. You said you're pregnant?" he asked
"That's what the doctors said but, I'm not so sure." she shrugged
"You need to tell him Caroline." he sternly said
She shook her head "No, no absolutely not! He'll give up that role just for me. I cannot do that."
Betty walked over to the pair smiling "What's going on over here?" she asked
"We're just talking about Caroline's boyfriend." Zac replied "He's got a new role in a movie."
"Ooh what movie?" Betty asked curiously
Caroline shrugged "I have no idea. I'm not really sure if its official or not. He hasn't mentioned anything yet."
"Don't worry about it honey. If its true I'm sure he'll tell you." she patted Caroline arm.
While Caroline was at the studio James was with Clara and Dave at a lodge not to far away from his and Caroline house.
"It is freezing in here." Clara complained as they walked around
"It's not that bad Clara." James said "Do you think Care will love it?" he asked hopeful
The brunette girl looked around the room and out the windows "I think she will but, we need heaters and decorations."
"She's so demanding." James joked with his brother
"She just know what she wants." Dave smiled at Clara who grinned back.
Clara rejoined the boys looking directly at James "I know what you're planning Franco." she pointed her finger at him.
"What exactly am I planning?" he asked innocently
"Don't play games with me Franco! You're either going to leave her or do something dumb." she said "Which is it?"
James pulled out the tiny box that was in his pocket "I was going to ask her to marry me. If that's dumb then I'll accept that."
Clara bit her lip as tears welled in her eyes "Are you serious?" she asked
"Dead serious Clara. I love her so much, I can't stand to not have her without my last name anymore." he replied showing her the ring
"If you hurt her I'll kill you." She warned wiping away the tears.
Caroline retuned home that night exhausted from her last day at the studio. She walked in to an empty house which she didn't expect.
"Great home alone." she muttered when the doorbell rang making her jump slightly.
A UPS man smiled at Caroline "Sign here please." he handed her a tablet which she sighed her name on.
"What is this exactly?" she pointed to the box
"I'm not sure exactly." he replied "Have a nice night."
Caroline pushed the huge box in the house. Picking up her phone she dialed James's number.
"Hey baby I'm almost home." he answered
"Good, because there's a box here for you." she said sitting on the couch
"Yes it came!" he laughed "I'll be there soon. I love Care."
"Love you too." she muttered hanging up
James was still at the lodge with just Clara now and the decorators who were putting up things for Caroline's birthday party.
"I have to get home but you can handle the rest right?" he asked
"James I was born to handle things like this. Hello I'm a bossy person I got this covered." Clara smiled "Go home to your girl. And please don't forget her birthday." she yelled as he left the lodge
When James returned home, he found Caroline on the phone texting someone.
"Hey babe." he greeted her "How are you feeling?" he asked
"Great. So what's in the box?" she asked changing the subject
James grinned at her like a child on Christmas morning "It's a surprise darling. Just wait though you'll love it."
