"Care your brother is here." Carter yelled into her room
The blonde walked out to the living room and there stood a man who reflected her own looks. He stood about 6'6" and had striking blue eyes like her and blonde hair.
"Hello Caroline I'm Vincent your brother." he held out his hand
She shook it smiling "Hello."
"This is all shocking I know. I'll be brief I hate long versions of things." he chuckled "Well mom and dad gave me up for adoption when I was born to Aunt Anastasia. I'm twenty-six, three years older then you obviously."
"What made you come back?" she asked
He shrugged "I found out I had a beautiful sister well two and a brother so I wanted to meet you guys. I wasn't too sure of how you'd respond." he paused looking around "Where's mom?"
Caroline shook her head "She left when I was sixteen. I think she's living with her twenty-some year old boyfriend in Florida."
"Sounds like her. I'd love to stay longer my love but, I have to get back to my hotel. Dinner tonight at six mine and my fiancés treat." he kissed her cheek heading out the door after leaving his number for Caroline.
Dressing in a white dress with black heels, Caroline applied her now famous red lipstick and cat eyeliner, finishing her look she curled her hair.
At the restaurant Caroline and Vincent walked in. They headed over to a table where a women was sitting but instead Vincent turned left.
"Finally you're here!" A sandy blonde haired man stood up hugging Vincent "Who is this supermodel?" he asked smiling
"Hi I'm Caroline Taylor." she held out her hand
He shook it happily "Brice Rivers, so you're my fiancé's gorgeous sister. You must have a boyfriend with looks like that." he gestured to her
Blushed she sat down across from the couple "I do actually."
"And who is this man?" Vincent asked
"Well he's an actor." she started out "Um he's in a few films."
Brice perked up interested "Really? Any I've seen?"
"He's in Spring Breakers, Fly Boys, Oz." she got cut off my a gasp from Brice.
"No wonder you look familiar you're in People magazine all the time. You're dating the James Franco!" He grabbed her hand across the table "I'm mad jealous girl."
Vincent shook his head then smiled "And actor huh? Thats pretty cool."
"Are you two talking of marriage yet?" Brice asked
"Not yet but I'd marry him in a heartbeat." Caroline confidently said
He smiled brightly showing his white teeth "Thats too cute."
After the dinner with her brother and his fiancé she learned how much she needed them in her life and how good it was to open up to people again. And she also learned how much she missed James so she decided to catch a flight to LA that
Caroline caught a flight early that morning wanting to surprise James at his house in LA. She was excited to see her boyfriend after a whole week.
"Welcome to LA." A flight attendant smiled at Caroline as she exited the airplane.
The sun wasn't showing a single ray since it was after all midnight. Grabbing her luggage she caught a cab which drove to James's house.
"Thank you so much." Caroline smiled paying the cab driver who smiled back
Walking up the driveway to the house, she unlocked the door. Once she entered she noticed the house looked rather clean like a women had been in the house and cleaned it.
"James?" Caroline called through the quiet house
Light footsteps made their way down the steps and there in front of Caroline was a petite brunette wrapped up in a light blue towel "Uh hi." she greeted Caroline
"Is uh James here?" Caroline asked shifting her weight from her left door to her right foot
"He's actually in the shower. I'll tell him you're here." she offered
Caroline shook her head "Oh no it's okay. I'll just go."
"It's Caroline right?" the brunette asked pointing at her
"Yup that's me." she replied
Walking up to Caroline she extended her hand "Wow I'm a little rude today. I'm Adeline."
"Adeline?" Caroline questioned at the girl who nodded "I see." she pursed her lips
"I'll tell James you stopped by." she offered
Caroline shook her head, her blonde hair bouncing "Thats okay." Walking out the door with her suitcase trailing behind her she called a cab which arrived ten minutes later.
"Where too miss?" the man asked
"187 South Clint street." Caroline replied sitting back watching all the fancy Hollywood houses pass by in a blur
Taking out her phone she texted Seth to let him know she was on her way over. He responded with a simple I'll be waiting.
"Thank you so much." Caroline smiled handing the cab driver a fifty dollar bill. Walking up the unnecessary long driveway as Caroline always thought he knocked on the door
"You home! Did you visit James?" Seth asked as soon as he flung the door open and engulfed Caroline in a hug
She shook her head "No, actually he had some girl over."
He raised an eyebrow pulling her suitcase inside "Who was she?"
"Adeline his ex girlfriend." she replied
