Hank's POV

"Hey baby." I hear my mother say as I wake up. I stare at her, not able to talk.
"Mr. Williams! You're awake!" A female voice says as she comes in the door. I can't see her. "You look sort of confused. You fell 540 foot off of a mountain, you have lost your right eye, your jaws and teeth were completely off of your face so we had to wire your jaws together, your brain was exposed, a good bit of your bones in your face are missing, and every single bone in your face is broken. Also your nose is gone." She says as she comes to my left side. She places a piece of paper on the table in front of me then gives me a pen.
"Luke?" I write and slide it to her.
"He isn't here. Are you in any pain?"
  "Luke." I write.
"I don't know who that is, but there isn't a Luke here. Do you have any pain in your ribs or back? Your legs?" She asks.
"Yes. LUKE!" I write and forcefully slide it to her.
"You broke your back, several ribs, and your left leg is completely shattered." She says. Getting very aggravated at this point I write "Luke" again then I write the word "phone" hoping she has my phone.
"Hank, baby, why don't you get some rest." My mother, Audrey says.
Audrey and I have never got along, instead of letting me be a kid she had me spending my childhood on a stage. My father, Hank Williams, Sr., passed away from a drug overdose when I was three. The world didn't want to face reality so my mother put me up on the stage in front of thousands of people at age five. I became the reincarnation of my father.
"Mr. Williams, how are you feeling?" A doctor asks as she comes in.
"Pain everywhere." I write on the paper.
"We'll give you a little morphine for the pain. Get some sleep, Mr. Williams. We will be taking you to surgery pretty soon, we are going to put a doner eye on your right. We have already replaced most of the right side of your face with plastic as well as your nose. You still have a hole in your forehead because of the swelling on your brain, we will close that up as soon as we can." The doctor says. I nod my head as best I can and begin falling asleep as soon as I close my eyes.

Luke's POV

Hank hasn't called me since he got to Montana, it's been three days since he left and I'm starting to get worried.
"Mama, can I talk to you?" I ask as I walk in the living room.
"Of course, sweetie."
"Hank hasn't called me since I talked to him when I got sick at school." I tell her as I sit down on the couch.
"Luke, he got hurt in Montana." Mama says. My heart immediately sinks.
"Is he okay? How bad is it? What happened?" I ask frantically as I stand up.
"Calm down, its not good for the baby for you to be freaking out. He fell 540 foot down a mountain, from what they said it's really bad." She tells me as she makes me sit back down.
"I have to go be with him mom." I say, still freaking out.
"Luke, we don't have the money to get you up there." She tells me.
"Hank left me a bunch of money." I say. I get up and run upstairs to my room. I throw a bunch of mine and Hank's clothes into a suitcase and grab the cash he left me from behind my picture of us together.
"Please drive me to the airport." I say to Mom and Dad as I run downstairs.
"Luke, his mother is there with him. He doesn't need you there to bother him." Dad says.
"I don't bother him. We love each other!" I yell, very aggravated by his statement.
"Luke, you're a kid. Kids bother everyone, you're annoying." He says back to me calmly. I grab my stuff and walk out the door.
I jump in my truck and drive over to Carter's.
"Well Hello Luke!" Carter's mother says as she opens the door.
"Mrs. Carter can I see Michael please?" I ask and run my fingers through my hair impatiently.
"Of course, he's up in his room. Go on up there." She says and opens the door for me to go in. I run upstairs to his room and run in.
"Carter I need you to drive me to the airport." I tell him as my eyes begin tearing up.
"What's wrong?" He asks, standing up off the bed.
"Hank, he got hurt really bad in Montana. Dad won't drive me so that means mom won't drive me and I need to go." I tell him.
"Okay, I'll take you. Please calm down , this is bad for the baby." He tells me and makes me sit on his bed.
"Baby? Luke did you get some poor girl pregnant?!" Carter's mom asks as she comes in the room.
"No, I'm pregnant." I tell her. She begins to laugh. "No, I am. I'm intersex. I have both reproductive systems, I'm pregnant."
"Luke, I'd rather you not be around my son anymore." She tells me.
"Why? It was perfectly fine before I told you it's not like I've known my whole life. My parents just told me a week ago." I say in defense, hoping she would let me stay.
" Luke, that still doesn't explain why you're pregnant." She said annoyed.
" Okay, I'm gay. My boyfriend Hank and I fucked up one night and since my mom never told me I was intersex I ended up pregnant." I said a bit embarrassed.
"LUKE GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE NOW!", Carter's mom yell pointing towards the door. I walk out of his house get in my truck and drive to the airport. I try calling Hank but he doesn't answer which makes me worried. I call his phone again and he finally answers.
"Hank, are you okay?" I say into the phone.
"Umm, who is this?" A woman's voice saids through the phone.
" I'm Luke, who is this." I ask with worry in my voice.
" This is his mom, how do you know him?" She asks.
"Well I'm his boyfriend, and I'm on my way to see him to talk to him about something." I say nervously as my hands are trembling.
"Well when should you be arriving?" She saids with anger in her voice.
"I should be there in around 12 hours." I say turning in the airport parking lot.
" Okay, bye" she saids sounding a bit annoyed still with anger in her voice.
I say bye and hang up the phone, I park my truck and get out, I grab my bags from the back and head inside.
