Dialling Ms. Sungit...

Ang tagal naman sumagot nitong supladang ito?

I ended the call and re-dial again.

Sino ang tinatawagan ko?

Sino pa ba?
Ang nag-iisang babaeng kilala ko na wala yatang balak magka-love life kaya habang tumatagal mas sumusungit.

Haha. Joke lang.

Si Denise ang tinutukoy ko.
Ang aming prinsesa. 😆😉

Wala naman akong girlfriend na kukulitin ngayon, so? Sino pa nga ba ang tatawagan ko?

"Hello?" -Denise

"Finally. What took you so long to answer?" Ako

"Wow ha? As if one hour ka ng nagda-dial? Sorry po Sir, nagbibihis ako kanina eh." Denise

See? Ang sungit diba?

"You know how precious my time is." Ako

"Kaya nga eh. So? I-end ko na 'yung call? Baka maabala ka na. Sayang oras mo." Denise

Napangisi at napailing ako.

This woman. She never fail to amaze me and irritate me in a good way.

At wag kayong mag-alala.
Hindi kami nag-aaway.
Normal na namin itong usapan.

I got used of her snob attitude and sarcasm.
While she got used of me, being a- well.. a handsome tease.

"Ikaw naman, di na mabiro." Ako

"Nagjo-joke ka pala. Di mo naman ako agad ininform." Denise

"Joke din ba 'yan? Tatawa na ako?" Ako

Then we both laugh.

"Baliw ka talagang kuneho ka." Denise

"Gwapo naman." Ako

"O? Nagjo-joke ka na naman." Denise

"Totoo namang gwapo ako. Kaya nga crush na crush mo ako." Ako

"Dati. When I was blinded by the truth that you're a cassanova." Denise

I laugh while imagining Denise frowning face upon saying it.

"Totoo naman ah?" Ako

"Na heart breaker ka?" Denise

"Not that. Na crush mo ako." Ako

"Nag-deny ba ako?" Denise

"Haha. No." Ako

"Tsaka, again ha? Dati pa iyon. Besides, you also have a crush on me.. Hindi lang iyon, you're also the one who confessed first about it." Denise

"Oh. So, you're bragging that now." Ako

"Nope. I'm just reminding you that you're the one who first fell to my charm." Denise

I laugh aloud.
Denise giggled.

"Ganda mo no?" Ako

"I know right." Denise

Ang sweet namin no?

But it's all true.
I'd like Denise first.
I even told about it to Luke and Troy before I confessed to her that I like her.
Good thing, she admitted that she also like me.

But we didn't become a couple.
Nope. Not a chance.
Because I din't even try to court her.
Why?
Let me just say that I knew it too well that she will just turn me down.

Alam ninyo 'yung feeling na naging masaya na akong nalaman niyang nagustuhan ko siya being me as a man and she as a woman?
Ganun. Na satisfied na lang ako.
Bunos na lang din na nalaman kong nagustuhan rin niya ako.

Isa pa, we're close friend. And I don't want to ruin our friendship.

Kaya naging part na lang ng pag-aasaran namin ang tungkol sa bagay na iyon.

If I still like her?

Well, let me say that nothing has change.

"By the way, Luke is staying at the condo tonight. Ikaw ba?" Denise

"Hindi eh. Uuwi ako sa bahay. Namimiss na ako ni Mama eh." Ako

"As if." Denise

"Grabe ka talaga sa akin." Ako

"Joke lang. Then, regards mo na lang ako kay Tita Norma." Denise

"Sigi. Sa parents mo din." Ako

"I will. Thanks." Denise

"Pano? I'll hang up now. Mag drive na ako pauwi eh." Ako

"Alright then. Salamat sa pagtawag, kunehong Jacob na heartbreaker." Denise

"Hey. Kuneho na nga, heartbreaker pa? That's not fair." Ako

"Haha. Paki mo? Ingat." Denise

Then she ended the call.

Wow. Kahit kelan talaga...

Rabbit and heartbreaker eh?

Napailing na lang ako.

Good thing I've save her number this way.
