7. The Lacrosse Game

In the morning, Hayes actually was there. We were still in the same position we were in when we watched Sinister. His arm was around me, my head was on his chest, and his head rested on mine. It was nice.

I look up to see Hunter sprawled across her bed. She was snoring, loudly. I try to slide out of bed without waking Hayes but it's no use. He let's in a big breath and stretches.

"Good morning beautiful," He smiles.

"Good morning," I smile back. "I can't believe you stayed here in my bed with me last night..."

"Yeah, that was nice." His raspy voice speaks. It was attractive.

"Do you wanna go get some breakfast?" I ask him.

"Yeah, what about Hunter?"

"She'll come eventually." I slip on some flip-flops. And Hayes comes behind me.

We take the elevator again downstairs, this time no screaming girls. Just Hayes and I. We talk about the movie and me getting scared.

"I was not scared!" I say.

"You were too! You screamed!" He teases.

"Whatever," I roll my eyes. The door opens and we walk out.

The guys, Mahogany, and Hayes's mom and sister were already here. We try to sneak in without the guys knowing.

"What are we gonna tell your mom?" I ask.

"Funny story," He wipes the back of his neck.

"What?"

"We talked about you, she likes you. She'd like to meet you, actually. I asked to come watch a movie with you and she said yeah so," He seems embarrassed.

"Aw, I'd love to meet her. Let's sit with them."

"Nooooo," Hayes begs. We walk to the breakfast area and the sneaking was no good. The boys noticed.

"And look at the cute couple that decided to show up!" Cameron shouts.

"Shut up Cameron," I snickered. He makes kissy faces at me. Hayes and I grab some food and a cup of orange juice and sit with his mom and Skylynn.

"You must be Spencer, Jack's sister, right?" His mom says.

"Yes ma'am," I smile.

"It's nice to finally meet you," She smiles.

"Is that Hayes's girlfriend?" Skylynn, his little sister says.

"No, it's just my friend, Spencer." Hayes reassures.

"No, that's your girlfriend. She's pretty. I like her." She smiles.

"Aw thank you cutie," I smile at her.

"Do you like horses? I love horses." Skylynn says, focusing on her toy horse.

"Oh yeah, definitely." I smile. Hayes looks at me and laughs. "What? I love your sister already," I laugh.

After breakfast, I head back to the room without Hayes. Jack takes the elevator with me instead.

"So you and Hayes?" Jack smiles.

"Me and Hayes what?" I ask.

"Are you a thing?"

"What? No!" I hit his shoulder.

"He told me you like to hit," He rubs his shoulder.

"What? When?"
