A/N:

Sorry for all the annoying author's notes! I'm writing this to tell you sorry for being bad at updating!!! Every since august, we've been real busy with volleyball and I'm a freshman now so everything's a handful! Gotta keep my grades up😁

Anyway, thank you for all the reads! I appreciate it and I will try to update when I can.

Btw, this chapter might be a little short but here's an update. Enjoy and thanks again for reading!❤️

It was finally the morning. I couldn't wait any longer. I was half asleep, trying to get myself ready. I couldn't sleep! I was way too excited.

I took my bag downstairs and grabbed a bite out of the fridge. After eating, I went to get the mail and then to brush my teeth one last time. Then I packed the toothbrush in a container and ran downstairs to pack it up.

Eventually, we left the house and headed to the airport. I watched my house fade as we drove farther and farther away. I was way to excited to see Hayes to be upset.

The plane ride was shorter than last time, considering I slept most of the time. I woke up, rubbed my eyes, and yawned. I shook the Jacks awake as the plane landed.

The three of us did the usual thing, grabbed a bite, then headed to the taxi...

We decided to surprise Hayes. It would be better to do so than to immediately know. Besides, I love the element of surprise.

"So Nash says Hayes is practically crying that we aren't gonna make it tonight." Jack laughs.

"Perfect," I say deviously.

"It's gonna be a moment to catch Hayes Grier crying. Hard." Johnson says.

We get to the Grier's house and knock on the door. It opens silently to a shirtless Nash.

"Hey guys!" He hugs us as he whispers. "c'mon in."

We were introduced to their mom once again and Skylynn. I smile and wave to Skylynn and hug Nash and Hayes's mom.

"Hayes is just around the corner, honey." Mrs. Grier says.

"Okay, thank you!" I whisper. I walk myself with my backpack loaded on my back to Hayes.

I walk to the back and hear muffled crying. I look to see Hayes lying in a hammock, eyes covered and angry words coming from his mouth.

"Why did the dang plane have to cancel the flight? It's not even bad weather here or there!" He exclaims.

I go over and lay next to him in the hammock. I stare at him, admiring him.

"Who is that?" He says, barely opening his hands to see me. I grab his wrists to put his hands back over his eyes.

"Wouldn't wanna spoil the surprise!" I whisper. He quickly removes his hands from his eyes and looks at me.

His face was stained with tears and his smile reached from ear to ear. Man, had I missed this smile.

"Spencer..." He said.

"Hayes..." Was all I could say.

He gets out of the hammock, me following behind him. All we could do was stare at each other's presence. Was this real? Were we really staring at each other or is this just some twisted dream?
