"What the hell Marie?!" Michael yelled at me.

"I'm sorry, ok? I really am." I replied.

"If you're so "sorry" why were you trying to swallow Luke?" He scolded, "I thought we had something." he sighed.

"I know, I know that you really liked me, but I'm sorry,I know, it's been Luke the whole time. We understand eachother, and ever since I met him I knew he, he would be my escape from my mom, my horrible life but you, Ashton, and Calum are also my escape from my mom because you guys took me in as a friend, you guys are like brothers to me." I admitted.

"Ok, when I saw you kissing him, I could tell it was real, like you were in love for the first time." He said.

"I think I am in love for the first time, thank you for understanding." I said, kissing him on the cheek.

"Your welcome, can we just start over, pwease?" he said like a child.

"Fine." I replied, "Hi, I'm Marie."

"I'm Michael, your an American, Aye?" He asked.

"Yup." I said back to him.

"Well, imma call you 'Merica." he sassed.

"fine, whatever ya say, nice colorful, fluffy hair."

"Tank you 'Merica."

"Hi mom." I said walking in with a smile on my face.

"Why are you smiling?" she asked, putting out her cigarette.

"Nothing." I said walking upstairs.

"I'm gonna ask you one more time, why, are, you, smiling?" she said sternly.

"Nothing, ok, it's nothing." I said trying to get away.

"Get over here." she said.

I couldn't refuse, i had to, even though I didn't want to.

She slapped my face.

I held my face.

"WHY?! WHY SHOULD YOU BE THE ONE TO SMILE AND BE HAPPY ALL THE TIME??!!" My mom yelled at me.

"I don't know." I replied, she punched my eye, it swelled instantly.

"YOU'LL NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR ANYTHING, SO WHY ARE YOU SO HAPPY?!" she yelled, that hurt me, not because se was beating me, but because of what she said.

"CONNIE ! THAT'S ENOUGH!!!" I heard a voice say from behind me.

I turn around and my frown turned into ahige smile.

"DAD!!" I yelled running, then giving him a hug.

"What happened to you?" I asked him with tears in my eyes.

"I fractured my leg back on the base." he told me.

"Your ok now, right?" I asked.

"Yeah I'm fine."

"KAI!! DYL!! SAW!!" I yelled to all of my brothers.

They ran down, instantly smiling then jumping on my dad.

"Wow, your legs broken!" Sawyer said sarcastically.

"No dur, dumb ass." my dad joked then hugged him.

"Whats up Dyl pickle?" my dad asked Dylan.

"Dad, please stop calling me Dyl pickle." Dylan laughed.

"And Kai! Your shrinking." my dad laughed.

We all in embrassed eachother in a hug, during this time my mom lit another cigarette.

"Connie, please don't smoke in front of my kids." Dad demanded.

"Why are they your kids? I carried those things for 9 months." she snapped.

It was about to be a madhouse when the doorbell rang.

"Ahh, saved by the bell." Kai said.

I ran to open it.

"Hi guys," I said.

"Yeah we were wondering if-" Calum began to say.

"Sorry, guys my dad just got back from the base and I-" I said, interrupted.

"Who's at the door, Mare?" my dad asked

My dad soon came to the door.

"So, who are they?" My dad said putting a hand on his gun holster.

"Wait dad, no it's ok, this is Ashton, Calum, and Michael, they're like 3 other brothers to me." I admitted to my dad.

"Whose the tall one?" My dad snapped.

"Oh, Luke's my, friend, boy, guy, bro, um." I didn't know what to say about our status.

"I'm her boyfriend." Luke said grabbing my hand to hold it, I nodded in response.

"What??!!" My dad, Sawyer, Dylan, and Kai, responded.

"Yes. We're a couple." I said.

"Sorry to interrupt but, what happened to your eye?" Luke asked.

"Oh, um, I was cleaning the floor and when I got up I hit it on the side if the table." I lied.

"Yeah, I was gonna deal with that until you came and told me your dating my daughter?!" My dad nearly yelled.

"Dad! it's ok he's really sweet, and nice, he understands me, he's a gentleman, he's hot, I mean, cute, and a lot if ither stuff which I don't have time for because they have to leave." I said pushing them out the door.

"You think I'm hot?" Luke asked.

"Yes, but you have To go, so yeah, bye." I pushed them out the door."

My dad and brothers were standing there with their arms crossed.

"Sorry." I said lightly, then shrugged.
