I groaned as I slowly sat up and stretched. I looked around a traditional Japanese room.

'Where am I?' I thought as I looked down at my hands noticing one of them was wrapped up. I paused. Remembering what had happened a few hours earlier, I quickly get up and go over to the sliding door, opening it.

"Wow... This is Jotaro's house?" I say aloud in awe, looking around the beautiful home. "Wished my house looked this nice." I say before hearing voices from a few doors down.

I quietly go towards the voices and peek my head into the room. Inside there was Avdol and Jotaro's Grandfather, Joseph Joestar. They sat next to an unconscious Kakyoin while Jotaro leaned on the wall next to the door.

Mr. Joestar suddenly looks up at me. "Oh (Y/n), your awake. How are you feeling?"

"I'm ok," I say, raising a bandaged hand. "I just hurt my hand." I looked up at Jotaro and gave him a small smile before entering the room.

I sit next to Kakyoin's body across from Mr. Joestar and Avdol. "What are you gonna do with him?" I ask pointing at Kakyoin.

He sighed and looked down at him. "It's too late for him. He's not going to make it."

"Wait, why?" I asked raising an eyebrow as Jotaro let out a grunt. 'Did we hurt him so bad that he'll die?' I thought as I began to panic. 'It was kick wasn't it?! I-'

"This was neither one of your faults." Mr. Joestar says, snapping me out of my thoughts as I sigh in relief. "Look, the reason that this man swore loyalty to Dio... And came to kill you..." He moves his hand down to Kakyoin's face, lifting his bangs and revealing a bug looking thing on his forehead.

"Ew! What is that!?" I questioned, scooting away a little bit from them. 'It's moving!' I thought as Jotaro got closer to get a better look.

"This is a flesh bud, formed from Dio's own cells." Avdol begins to explain as I watched the flesh bud squirm. "It connects to his brain. This tiny little flesh bud was implanted in his brain to influence his mind."

"No way..." I say aloud shocked. I look over at Jotaro who has a look of concern on his face.

"In other words, it's like a controller that draws forth certain feelings." Mr. Joestar continues. "Charisma!" He suddenly calls out, startling me a bit.

"This is a quality that will make a soldier want to obey a dictator! The trait that would make believers follow a cult leader!" He said, clenching his fist then pointing at Kakayoin. "This young man admired Dio and swore loyalty to him." He says as it goes quiet.

"Dio is very charismatic, which allows him to sway others with his charm easily. He used that to order Kakyoin to kill us." Mr. Joestar finishes.

"So operate on him and remove it." Jotaro says.

"The brain is very delicate. If he moves while we're extracting it, it can cause damage to the brain." Joestar explains.

"Then there's nothing we can do?" I asked, feeling somewhat worried about Kakyoin. Yeah, he tried to kill us, but he only did it because Dio influenced him. I guess it wasn't all his fault.

"Jojo, (Y/n)..." Avdol speaks up. We both turn our attention towards him. "The story I am about to tell you happened four months ago. I was in Cairo, Egypt..." He goes on with the explanation about the day he first met Dio.

"That's terrifying." I say as I was contemplating if I should share my dream about Dio with them. I shivered just thinking about it and decide not to tell them for now.
