Chapter 12: What Hisoka think of Mia

Normal POV

Tsuzuki, after being scold by Tatsumi and Chief Konoe for what Tsuzuki did in the building where Mia was previously kidnapped, is looking for Hisoka and Mia. He found them underneath the sakura tree near the EnmaCho building. He notice that Hisoka seems to be helping Mia with something so he went to them.

"Hey there you two"Tsuzuki greeted.

"Oh,Tsuzuki-onii-chan..."Mia said.

"So did Tatsumi-san chew your butt out?"Hisoka asked.

"Please don't remind me"Tsuzuki cried and Mia just sweatdrop.

"By the way, what are you two doing anyway?" Tsuzuki asked as he took the book from the ground besides Mia and sat beside her.

"I was studying and Hisoka-kun is helping me" Mia said."since we finished our mission and I got nothing to do so I decided to study instead.

"Where did you get your books?"

"I think it went with me when I was transported here in your world...see I still have my bag and I'm still wearing my sailor uniform"Mia said as she showed her bag to Tsuzuki.

"You must be really smart,Mia-chan"Tsuzuki said.

"Oh no, I'm not...I just really like to study"Mia said as she shyly scratches her head.

"And you can be a detective someday, you were great at noticing things that even Hisoka couldn't notice"

"What's that supposed to mean?"Hisoka asked.

"Oh well...to tell you the truth,I always love to read detective novels...I want to be a detective in the future..and sometimes when I'm alone,I will always pretend to be a detective like this"

Mia stood up and demonstrate to Tsuzuki how she play detective.

"The culprit is you!" then she change sides to be a pretend culprit."Hahaha,looks like you found me out" ...like that...

Tsuzuki chuckled."Wow that was good Mia-chan"

"It's a little embarrassing though..."Mia said as she scratch her head.

"But I got to admit, you'll be a good detective someday,Mia"Hisoka said as he sat up."If you keep that up,you'll be a greater detective than us shinigamis"

"But you are much of a detective instead of a shinigami,Hisoka-kun"Mia said."but you know,you said the same thing as the boy from my past told me"

"Boy?"Tsuzuki asked.

"You see,when I was little, I was always bullied...then one day,when the bullies were bullying me again, a boy came to my rescue..."Mia paused and look at Hisoka."And he look excatly like you,Hisoka-kun"

"Then that must have been Hisoka's counterpart from your world,Mia-chan"Tsuzuki said.

"Yup..then he became friends with me and I did told him that I want to be a detective and he said the same thing as you said to me earlier..."

"But where is he now?"

"He is now studying abroad...many of the bullies fear him so when they heard that he is now in abroad,they went to bully me again but Kokusai-san and Chiga-san protected me from them"

"Are they your friends?"

"Yup,Tomoyo-chan,Kaito,Kokusai-san our student council president,Chiga-san the vice president and Kondou-san,their friend, are the only ones who accept me what I am...Tsuzuki-onii-chan...Hisoka-kun...am I a monster?"

Hisoka and Tsuzuki's eyes widen at Mia's question.

"No,You're not...why did you say that?"Tsuzuki asked as he held Mia's shoulders.

Mia said nothing,she just collapsed in Tsuzuki's chest and began to cry. Tsuzuki, don't know what to do, just hug her.

"Just let it out,Mia-chan..."

Then Mia cried harder,Hisoka just went besides the two. He was afraid that if he touch Mia, he might accidentally see her memories and it might cause him pain but he shook his head slightly and touch Mia's back. Just as he expected, he saw Mia's memories and it pains him inside but he focus on seeing Mia's memories,even thought it is wrong to peek into her memories but she will need to be comforted. He doesn't want her to became like Tsuzuki when he tries to kill himself.

"Get her!"

"Go away,you monster!"

"A monster!"

"A monster,you're not one of us!"

"You're not Human!"

"Please,I'm sorry...."The 5 years old Mia plead.

"Go away!"

"Why did you kill me?!"

"Die!"

Hisoka wince at the memory of Mia so he immediately let go of Mia's back and pant a little.

"Hisoka?"

Hisoka look at Tsuzuki who has a worried look on his face. Tsuzuki was still holding Mia who seems to fall asleep.

"Are you okay? Mia-chan fell asleep after all her cryin...what happen? You seem to be in pain..."Tsuzuki asked.

"I'm fine...maybe you should wait for Mia to tell you the whole story"Hisoka said as he stood.

Tsuzuki stared at Hisoka but never said anything. He carried Mia and said.

"I'm going to take her inside...her memories...it seem worse but Muraki made it worser...I'll never forgive for what he did to her"Tsuzuki said seriously.

So Tsuzuki went inside along with Mia.Hisoka stared at them for a while before he look into the sky.

"Mia...what is Mia to me?...she was like Tsuzuki...a happy go lucky person but deep inside, she is full of darkness memories...but for some reason,even with my cold personality...she still became friends with me...she is like a sister for me...and me who don't usually get along with people...became attach to a girl who is from another world...but...I'm afraid...she might ended up like Tsubaki-hime...no,I won't let Muraki hurt anyone anymore...he already hurt Tsuzuki once and I won't let him hurt him and Mia again...

Hisoka then close his eyes and start to walk towards the building.
