Chapter 32: The final battle part 1 (The doll)
Normal POV
They are now preparing for the battle between shinigamis and Freih. Mia then said she wants to go to the city. Tsuzuki wants to go with her but Mia said she wants to go alone. Tsuzuki, after a few minutes of thinking, finally agrees to let Mia go. To make up for disappointing him, Mia promised to bring him cake which made Tsuzuki happy. Mia then arrives in the city. She went to the park and sat for a few minutes. She then thought about their upcoming battle.
"I hate this...I hate fighting but if I don't fight, Freih will kill all the inocent people in this world and in our world and Muraki-san might take Tsuzuki-onii-chan...Why?...Tomoyo-chan said that Freih is my bestfriend and was in love with me...but how come I don't remember him?...Did he do something to make me forget him?...
Mia was still in her thoughts that she didn't notice someone approach her.
"Are you okay,princess?"A familiar voice said, making Mia snapped out of her thought and eyes widen in shock.
She looked up and saw...
"M-Muraki-san..."Mia said in surprise.
"What are you doing here alone?"Muraki asked Mia.
"Um...I'm just resting here..."
"All alone?"
Mia nodded.
"Tsuzuki-san let you go here all by yourself?"Muraki asked.
"No,I convinced him to let me go alone"Mia replied,feeling uneasy.
Muraki notice it." Don't worry,I won't do anything to you,princess...do you mind if you come with me? I want to show you something..."
"But if I go with you...Tsuzuki-onii-chan will-"
"Just keep this as our little secret. Besides,I told you, I'm not gonna do anything to your right now"Muraki said as he held out his hand. Mia hesitated at first but after a few seconds, She took his hand and He led her to a mansion.
"This is my home. Let's go inside,princess"
Muraki went inside and Mia followed him.He took her to his room where it was full of dolls.
"Wow, this room is amazing"Mia said.
"I'm glad you like it,princess..."
"I'm sorry but I can't really...treat you like my friend...our battle-"
"Say no more princess, let's have a temporary truce for now. I want to talk to you about something"Muraki said as he approached Mia.
Muraki then gently holds Mia's chin and tilts it up.
"You are so pretty,princess...just like a doll..."Muraki said as his face are almost near Mia's face. "Humans are just toys for me to play with...when it got broken, I just threw it away.... But you're a different toy,princess". Mia was a little frighten but she didn't show it.
"We are not your toys,Muraki-san"Mia said bravely."We're humans. Humans are not toys that you could just throw away when it is useless."
"Does Tsuzuki-san and you counted as human?"Muraki said as he gently let go of Mia's chin but he is still close to her.
"Tsuzuki-onii-chan is human"Mia said seriously.
"I see that you are not reffering to yourself. What about you?"
"Tsuzuki-onii-chan and Hisoka-kun said I'm human"Mia replied blankly.
"I see...Well, what do you think will be the outcome of this battle? Do you think everyone will come out alive?"
