Chapter 18: The past, Muraki strikes again last part

In the previous chapter, Muraki kidnapped Tsuzuki again with the intention of getting Mia for the mysterious man name Freih who seems to be after Mia's powers.Muraki tries to control Tsuzuki by giving him a torture nightmare but he seems to resist it,thanks to Mia's words of encouragement to him and much to Muraki's surprise. Mia and Hisoka now appear to save Tsuzuki. Freih now deals with Hisoka which is to hand over Mia for Tsuzuki. Will Hisoka hand over Mia for Tsuzuki's safety?

Normal POV

"So...what will you choose boy? That girl or Tsuzuki? If you choose that girl, Tsuzuki will be killed and if you hand her over without a fight, Tsuzuki will be free..."Freih said as he put his hands in his pockets.

"Hisoka-kun,I-"

Hisoka use telepathy to speak to Mia."No, I won't give you to him...if I did,Tsuzuki will be sad and I don't want to see him or you hurt..."

"But if you don't...Tsuzuki-onii-chan will be..."

"I know...that's why we must think of a way to save him without handing you to him..."

"So what will be boy?"

"I suggest you hand over that girl to Freih-sama if I were you"Muraki suddenly spoke."why bother protecting her if she only cause you trouble? If you think of the situation,it is mostly her fault...if she never arrive in our world in the first place, you will not be in this situation right now..."

"Shut up,why should I listen to a murderer like you? This situation can happen even if Mia isn't here, she has no faults here"

"Hisoka-kun...am I really becoming a burden?..."Mia asked herself."no, I can't let Muraki and that Freih guy to take control of my feelings,yes,it's true that I'm getting the feeling that I'm a burden but Tsuzuki-onii-chan and Hisoka-kun gave me strength and hope that help me realize that I'm not a burden...I will do my very best to help them in anyway I can"

"D-don't...H-Hisoka..."Tsuzuki said weakly as he open his eyes slowly and tried to sit up.

"Tsuzuki/Tsuzuki-onii-chan!"Hisoka and Mia both called out Tsuzuki's name.

"D-don't...l-let...him...t-take M-Mia-ch-chan...H-Hisoka..."

Suddenly Freih went inside Tsuzuki's cage, wrap his arm around Tsuzuki's neck, took out a sword and put it near Tsuzuki's neck.

"Tsuzuki!"

"Onii-chan!"

"Choose, him or her"

Hisoka and Mia don't know what to do now. How can they save Tsuzuki without handing over Mia to them?

"Don't kill Tsuzuki-san,Freih-sama, he is still an important to me"Muraki said as he push up his glasses.

"I know, I know...don't worry, I know you still want to revive Saki so I won't kill him"Frei said.

"Saki?...you bastard, you still want to use Tsuzuki to revive your brother again?! Tsuzuki isn't a thing you could just use to get revenge!"Hisoka stated angrily.

"What do you care anyway? This isn't your business"Muraki said with angry but calm tone in his voice.

"You!"Hisoka hissed angrily.

Tsuzuki then use his remaining strength to push Freih off of him using his life force. When he did, Freih let go of him. He tried to stand up but he was too weak because of Muraki's torture nightmare so he just stumble and fell.

"You fool!" Freih raise his sword to stab Tsuzuki.

"Tsuzuki!!"Hisoka shouted.

Tsuzuki close his eyes. And a stabbing sound was heard. When Tsuzuki open his eyes, he saw Hisoka whose eyes widen and to his surprise, his body wasn't stab instead when he look behind him, his eyes widen in shocked. Between him and the sword is Mia's body. Freih's sword was stab into Mia's stomach. She uses her body to protect Tsuzuki.

"Mia!/Mia-chan!"Hisoka and Tsuzuki both shouted.

Frei th ook out his sword and just move away a little. Mia collapse on Tsuzuki's arms.

"Mia-chan!Mia-chan! Iskarishte!" Tsuzuki plead to Mia.

Then to his surprise, Mia's wound heals but she remains unconscious.

"Her wounds...healed?"

"So it's true after all...her body is not of an ordinary human"Freih said as he put his sword back to his shealth.

"Dou yo koto ga?"Tsuzuki asked as he pulls Mia close.

"Don't you know? You two are the same..."

"Same?..."Tsuzuki realize what Freih meant."you don't mean-"

"Now hand her over to me"

"Tsuzuki!"Hisoka shouted as he ran towards them.

Tsuzuki then summons Suzaku. Suzaku then attacks Muraki and Freih.

"Tsuzuki,go!" Suzaku shouted. "I'll handle this"

"Arigato,Suzaku"

Frei and Muraki then retreat again.Tsuzuki then carries Mia. He and Hisoka left the building and went back to Chyugocho. When they arrive, Tsuzuki also fell unconscious. Tatsumi, Chief Konoe and Watari help heal the three. After a few hours of healing, Tsuzuki and Mia woke up, much to their relief. When they heard that Mia almost die when she save Tsuzuki, they scold her a little and of course,they were grateful. Mia apologize for her reckless action and of course,they forgive her. They understand why Mia did that and they thank her and Hisoka for saving Tsuzuki.Then later that night,Tsuzuki and Mia had a heart to heart talk.

"I'm sorry,Tsuzuki-onii-chan..."

"Why are you apologizing,Mia-chan?"Tsuzuki pats Mia's head.

"Well...I think...I made you and Hisoka-kun worried...and...I think I made you feel guilty because of what happen to me...I'm really sorry..."

"It's not your fault,Mia-chan..."

"...I saw the nightmare that Muraki gave you...Tsuzuki-onii-chan, I wouldn't blame you if anything happen to me...please don't feel guilty"Mia hugged Tsuzuki again.

"I know...you know, your words are always so comforting...this is the first time that I felt a little peace...thank you,Mia-chan..."

Mia just hugged Tsuzuki closer. Hisoka watch the two and smiled. He was happy that Tsuzuki is doing okay. Mia is really special he thought. He was about to leave when he heard Mia call his name.

"Hisoka-kun!"

Hisoka then turn around and saw Mia waving at him while Tsuzuki is smiling.

"Want to watch the stars with us?"Mia called out.

Hisoka smiled."...sure"

Hisoka went to them and they watch the stars together.Tsuzuki then remember Frei's words.

"You two are the same..."

"Is it really true?...that Mia and I are the same?...is it because we are counterparts?...or is it...something else?..."Tsuzuki thought but he shook his head and just watch the stars along with Mia and Hisoka. Meanwhile, a figure wearing a hood was standing by a tree watching them.

"Mia-chan..."The figure said as the wind blows hard.
