“Niall, come on, we have to go. The boys are waiting on us.” I yelled at him from the living room in our flat. A lot has happened in the past two years. After they finished in third on the X Factor, they moved to London, and made me come with them. Niall didn’t want to leave his best friend behind.

“I’m coming, I’m coming.” He said as he walked into the room. “How do I look?”

“Great, now let’s go.” I said without looking at him.

“You didn’t even look at me.” He said and threw his  hands up.

“Niall, you always look amazing.” I said. I meant to keep that in my head. He was my best friend, I couldn’t say that to him. “I mean,” I looked up, “yeah, you look good and we’re only going to go see the boys.”

I saw him blush, “Um, thanks.”

“Okay, well we need to go.” I said and left the flat, not really waiting on him. I walked to the lift, and heard him shut the door to our flat. We were just going over to Louis’ and Harry’s flat to hang out.

“So where are we going?” He asked me as we stood in the lift.

I  tried to put what I just said to him in the back of my mind, “Louis’ and Harry’s.”

“Yeah buddy,” He mumbled. I smiled to myself at my adorable best friend. I mean best friend. Yeah, just best friend. Not adorable.

“I think you look amazing all the time too,” Niall whispered in my ear right before the lift doors opened.

Did I just hear him right? Did he really just say I look amazing? I blushed and got out of the lift.

I thought back to when Niall and I were little. We were celebrating his seventh birthday when I got him a frog. I found it in my back yard and I wrapped it up in a plasic container. He invited a few of his friends from school which meant I was the only girl since he went to an all boys school. When he opened the container he jumped about a foot in the air and so did all the other boys. I fell over in a fit of laughter.

“What are you laughing at?” Niall asked me as we got into his car.

I looked at him and realized that I was laughing out loud, “Remember your seventh birthday party?”

“Yeah, and you gave me a frog?” He smiled at the memory.

“Yeah. I was just thinking about how you and the other boys freaked out about it.”

“And you couldn’t stop laughing. It’s amazing to see how you acted like a guy back then and look at you now.” He looked at me and realized he said too much.

“What do you mean?” I asked him, wanting to find out what he meant by what he said.

“Oh, nothing.” He said. His face was red so I just let it go. “So why did the boys say we had to come?” He kept his eyes on the road.

I answered him, “Something about the tour you’re starting up here soon.”

He nodded and the rest of the ride to Nando’s was silent.

“Jay! Niall!” Louis yelled as we walked into the flat.

“Lou!” I yelled back and hugged him. I hugged the other three boys and sat down in the kitchen between Niall and Louis. Liam was across from me and between Zayn and Harry.

“So Lou, why did you call this emergency lunch meeting thing?” I asked and folded my hands on the table.

“Well, we’ve been thinking, and we want you to come on tour with us.” He said and looked right at me.
