“AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME, WE COULD BE STARVING, WE COULD BE HOMELESS, WE COULD BE BROKE! AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME, I’LL BE YOUR PLATINUM, I’LL BE YOUR SILVER, I’LL BE YOUR GOLD!” Niall belted out the lyrics to As Long As You Love Me by Justin Bieber. The love this Irish guy had for Justin Bieber was insane. I laughed at him and watched the sights pass by.

The song finished and I looked at him, “So are you going to tell me where we’re going this time?”

He smiled, “Guess.”

“Yes?”

“Nope!” He laughed. I crossed my arms and looked out the windshield. This only made him laugh harder. “Hey Jayden?”

“What?” I said, acting like I was mad.

“I dare you not to laugh.” He knew my weakness. Whenever someone said this to me, it made me laugh.

I turned to look at him and tried my best to keep a straight face. I gave in. I started laughing. I took his hand that was rested on the middle console of the car and put mine in his. He put the car into park and started to put on a snapback with some sunglasses. I put mine on, because I knew if he needed them, someone would recognize me too. I was best friends with a member of One Direction, of course someone would know who I was. I stepped out of the car and looked at a big sign that stood in front of us.

“Dublin’s Viking Adventure,” I read to myself outloud.

Niall took my hand in his and pulled me toward the enterance.

“An amusement park?” I asked him in disbelief. When I was younger, I had been here with him. Our dads took us to celebrate our tenth birthdays. We had a lot of fun when we weren’t trying to find our dads. We sort of got a little lost. Oops. I had always wanted to go back, but our dads never took us and I didn’t want to go with anyone but Niall.

“You loved this place when we went when we were ten didn’t you?” Niall asked.

“I think ‘loved’ is an understatement if that’s even possible. I always wanted to come back, but our dads wouldn’t take us. Then when you went for the X Factor, I could’ve gone with my class, but I wasn’t about to go without you. My dad called the school and said I couldn’t go. Then we moved to London.” I trailed off. He could finish the story.

“So this was a good choice? You know, to come here?”

“It was an amazing choice.” I smiled at him and we made our way into the amusement park.

After ten hours of riding the adventurous rides, we went out to eat. After eating Nando’s so much with Niall in London, it became my favorite place to eat, so that’s where we went. Even though we knew almost every little detail of each others lives, we still had something to talk about the entire time. After we ate, he drove me back to my house to drop me off.

“Do you want to come in? I’m sure we could find a movie to watch..” I asked him as he parked in the driveway of my fathers house.

He thought about it for a while. I didn’t think he was going to answer, “It’s okay if you don’t want to.” I added. Why did I ask? He probably didn’t want to be anything more than friends. Why was I so stupid?! I shouldn’t have said yes to coming on a date. I loved him, but I don’t think he feels the same way.

“No, I’ll come.” He finally spoke.

I turned to look at him, “Are you sure? I don’t want you to feel like you are obligated to come. I mean, if you really would rather just go home, I would understand. I’ll just go inside and-” I was cut off by Niall crashing his lips into mine.
