“Hey, Liam. Can I come over? I need to talk to you. It’s sort of urgent?” I asked as I called Liam.
“Umm, yeah sure,” Was all he said. He could tell it was important, so I just hung up.
“Going out,” I yelled at Niall as I made my way out of our flat, “not that you care.” I mumbled the last part.
I walked over to Liam’s flat which wasn’t that far from mine and Niall’s. It was a nice day out, so I didn’t mind walking.
“Hey Jayden, what did you need to talk about?” Liam asked after I knocked on the door twice.
I hugged him and walked over to the couch, “Do you know who Thad is?”
“I’m assuming he’s the guy you were flirting with the other day? The new tech guy?” He questioned. His eyebrows were furrowed.
“Exactly him.”
“What happened between you and Niall?”
“It’s a long story. I love Niall, and he says he loves me too, but I don’t believe it. So Thad is just sort of..” I didn’t know how to tell Liam.
“He’s gay isn’t he?” Liam had a smirk on his face.
“How did you find that out?”
“Jayden, you are too nice to actually hurt Niall with a straight guy. I’ve only known you for two years and I know you wouldn’t do that to him. You couldn’t do that to him.”
“Am I really that easy to read?”
Liam laughed, “So you’re using Thad to make Niall jealous? To see what he’s going to do about it? Fight for you or let you go?”
“Wow, you’re good. You could be like a therapist or something..”
“Nah, you’re just easy to read.” He said, referring to what I said not even a minute before.
I nodded, “So do you think it’s a good idea?”
“Does Niall hate you right now? Or, well does he act like he hates you right now?” Liam asked, ignoring my question before.
I thought about it. It had been three days since I had first met Thad. Every time we were at the arena, I talked to him whenever Niall was around. Then when we went home, Niall would go straight to his room and we would ignore each other. I wanted so badly to talk to him, but I knew he wouldn’t talk to me. Niall was definitely a guy that could hold a grudge. “Yeah, I guess he has.”
“He’s not going anywhere then.” Liam said before we heard a faint knock on the door.
“Come in,” Liam said.
“Hey babe,” Danielle said as she walked over to Liam. She saw me and smiled. I hope she doesn’t think anything was happening.
“Hi Dani.” I said to her then looked at Liam, “Thank you for listening Liam. I really needed to tell someone.”
He walked me out, “He will fight for you.”
I nodded and walked out of the flat. Liam really helped, especially his last few words. “He will fight for you,” I repeated to myself, “He’s going to fight for me.”
Zayn’s Point of View:
“I cannot believe her! Doesn’t she know that I have feelings for her?! Seriously! The nerve that girl has.” An Irish voice boomed through my flat.
“Who’s that?” Perrie asked. We were sitting on the couch watching The Office (U.S.). I know Jayden, Niall, and Perrie loved it, but I thought it was stupid. Whenever I said that around Jayden, she would yell at me. She was sort of obbsessed.
