Avira's POV
"M-my brother.... Y-you k-killed h-h-him!" Bill said, coming towards me.
"No, no!" I said, putting up my hands and stepping back. "That was my father! I-I never knew until today!" Lies.
"How do we know you aren't lying?" Mike muttered before meeting my yellow eyes.
I sighed. "I havent killed a child before..." More lies. "I just found out im... Uh, IT's kid..." I closed my eyes and let my eyes turn blue and my fangs and claws disappear. I looked up at everyone, trying to look as innocent as possible. "P-please believe me." I whispered, meeting Richie's soft eyes. He was the only person who didn't look extremely mad at me.
"Stop bullshitting us!" Stan snapped, immediately shutting his mouth after.
"J-just stay away from us A-A-Avira. We dont want you around. I-I wish B-Bev never brought y-you into our group." Bill said harshly.
"Bill!!" Beverly and Ben said in unison, their expressions turning cold.
I felt tears form in my eyes, and the lines fade from my face. I looked down at the grey floor of the sewers as a tear fell down my cheek.
"Bill stop being an asshole!" Richie shouted, shoving him back.
"S-she isn't fully human!" Bill screamed, "Avira w-was probably planning to kill us, like she killed Jackson. She'd p-probably use her voodoo magic on us, j-just like she did on the other boys."
"Bill, calm down a bit, will ya'?" Mike said softly, his dark eyes met mine. I could sense a hint of anger and fear in the air.
"My father killed him!" I yelled, a few tears ran down my face. "You think I had a choice? You think I knew he killed your brother?" I walked closer to the group. "Its not my fault I'm not fully human, okay? I-I..." My voice faltered when I met Bill's eyes. "I'm not surprised that you hate me Bill..." I whispered. "I can't belive I actually thought I had friends for once..."
"Avira-" Beverly started.
"No... Bill said he doesnt want me around... so bye." I wiped away my remaining tears and ran past everyone, using my enhanced speed to run faster. I ran to the Quarry and sat down on the edge of the cliff and looked over at the sparkling blue waves below.
"Well, who do we have here..?" A voice said from behind me.
Richie's POV
"Son of a bitch..." I said, glaring at Bill. "You really had to say that to her?"
"S-she lied about a-a lot of t-t-things! Avira d-deserved it."
"Bill, she wasn't just gonna suddenly come up to us and tell us she is related to the thing that... killed your brother." Bev said, looking at me briefly. "She knows you lost your brother and she knows how and why. Thats why she didn't tell you.."
"T-that makes n-no sense B-Beverly." Bill said.
"Bev means that she didn't tell you cause if you knew the full truth, it would hurt too much. Georgie's dead, Bill. Avira didn't kill him. You know that." I said softly, earning a slap across the face from Bill. "Ouch, Jeez." I pressed my hand against my cheek.
"My brother isn't dead! He might be alive still!" Bill shouted at me. "Who else c-can I blame, Richie? We h-havent found I-IT yet. She's the only o-other... thing I can b-blame... or kill."
Okay, that's it.
"Avira is a fucking human being, not some demon thing from space, Bill! You can't keep looking at her like that! So what if she's half human, she isnt like Pennywise! She didn't kill your brother! She isn't killing kids! Avira isn't IT!! She isn't trying to kill us and you just made her feel like shit and you made all of us look bad because you said you didn't want her around! Well good job Bill, you just fucked everything up!" I snapped.
Everyone took a step back. Bill's eyes were full of rage. "S-screw you R-Richie. I-im gonna f-find Avira... and make h-her tell me where my b-brother is... and where IT i-is." His voice lowered until it was barely audible, but I managed to hear a few of his words, "IT... Avira... kill... Find Georgie." And with that, he left.
"Now what do we do?" Eddie asked, a scared look on his face.
"I dunno Eds." I replied, messing up his hair.
"Don't call me that, Richie." Eds muttered, fixing his hair. A smirk flickered across my lips.
"Richie. Do you like her?" Beverly said suddenly.
I did a double take. "I'm sorry m'lady. Repeat that again?"
"Do you have a crush on Avira, cause you were pretty protective over her infront of Bill?"
Oh crap.
