"Why are you here Richie?" She asked. Her two-toned hair swept over one shoulder and the lines were bold across her skin.
"I don't think it's very polite for a guy to let a dame run off into the woods in tears, now is it?" Richie said, slowly walking closer to her. "Can I sit?"
"Sure, go ahead." She turned back and looked down. "Shouldn't you be off with your friends instead of being with a freak like me?"
"You aren't a freak; you're a Loser, like a certain somebody." He gestured to himself with a stupid grin on his face.
"So, how badly is Bill wanting to kill me for "killing his brother"?" She asked softly, shutting her eyes for a moment and her demon-like appearence faded back to human.
Richie looked down over the cliff, "He doesn't want to kill you." He could feel Avira's gaze burning into him. "Okay he's mad, but he always stutters stuff he doesn't mean when he's mad."
Avira scoffed, "Sure, cause it totally didn't look like he meant it." She stood up and began to walk down the path.
"Wait!" Richie jumped up and grabbed her wrist, making her freeze in place. Avira's eyes flickered from yellow to blue as she looked down at his hand. He met her eyes and slowly brought his hand down to intertwine their fingers. "Don't leave."
Hundreds of ways to say 'no' ran through Avira's head, but she found herself nodding and standing on the edge of the cliff with Richie.
"Why are you not scared of me, Richie? Everyone else is." She mumbled, looking down at the rocks below her feet.
"You haven't given me a reason to be afraid." Richie said confidently, but the smell of fear faintly lingered in the air.
Avira couldn't help but smile, her fangs glistening, "Liar. You're scared of me."
"Okay fine, I may be. But just a little. I'm not a wuss like Eddie." Richie sighed, "We- I... I need your help." For once, no sarcasm lingered in his voice.
"With what?"
"We want- we need to kill your father." Richie admitted.
Avira lowered her voice, "Please don't call him- IT that."
"What?"
"Don't call Pennywise my father. It's just," Avira shivered, "weird."
"Okay sorry. If I ever want to end up with you, dealing with your "male parent" is gonna be an issue." Richie smirked.
Avira laughed, "Who says you'll ever end up with me, huh Trashmouth? Anyways, what about this plan?"
"We don't have all the details yet, but we are gonna find out where this thing lives and well... kill it." Richie intertwined their fingers again. "We figured, you know the most about IT, so maybe you could help us out."
"I would be glad to help you." She sighed, "You know Henry Bowers, right?"
"Yeah I think I do. Asshole, idiot, insane, in need of mental help."
Avira nodded, "IT is controlling him. Has Henry set under some control... Maybe he's brainwashed but he's... I don't know... I'm worried... I'm worried that if IT knows I'm helping you, IT may, you know."
"Brainwash you?"
Avira nodded slightly and closed her eyes for moment, "Pennywise isn't human; IT has powers that are anything but from this world. I don't know how strong IT's powers are... but all I know is that IT won't be easy to kill."
Richie nodded, taking in the information that she had given him. "Do you know where IT lives?"
"The sewers. But there's an easier way I know that we can access them from." She ran her fingers through her dark hair.
"Neibolt? The crackhouse?"
"Yep, IT lives there. I can tell you more, but it's easier of I tell you all together."
Richie adjusted his glasses, "So you'll help up?"
"I don't want the only friends I have to die."
If I continue to update this book, updates will be slow but here's another chapter.
