"Hey guys, we need to find Avi," Richie said. "She's still missing."

"Get me out of here!" Eddie screamed, holding his now broken arm in pain as the clown came closer, Richie stepping in front of Eddie to shield him.

"You want your precious Avi, Richie?" IT giggled, stepping closer to the group. "Do you really think she wants you Trashmouth?"

Richie stopped and looked at IT, "Where is she?"

A soft feminine giggle rung out from the side of the room, where the shadows were darkest. The group looked over at the sound. "Avira?" Beverly asked, gripping the metal rod in her hand.

"Hi Bevvie," the voice giggled again, a pair of bright yellow eyes appearing in the darkness.

"I-I told you s-she was bad!" Bill shouted, looking at the shadows.

"Rotten to the core, Bill." Avira stepped forward, her eyes blazing yellow, the makeup running over her features in thick red lines. Her subtle two-toned hair was more visible, the strands alternating red and black. She grinned, her teeth sharpening into fangs, her nails lengthening into claws.

"Holy shit," Mike said, taking a step back.

Avira giggled, "Come play with me, we'll all float and it'll be so much fun."

"Guys that's not Avira," Richie said slowly. "That's not her."

"That's clearly her Richie," Ben said, gesturing over to her.

"That's not my Avi," Richie muttered, watching as Beverly stabbed the metal rod through IT's head.

Avira's eyes flickered and the lines began to fade. "H-Holy shit," she looked at her hands, then at the others kids.

Bev hesitated before grabbing Avira's wrist and pulling her out the doors at into the sunlight. Avira tripped down the steps, a hand placed to her head as she sat on the dry, dead grass with her head tipped down.

Bill seized her shoulder, making her head snap up to meet his gaze. "W-What the h-hell was t-t-that?" He asked, a cold look settling in his eyes.

Avira looked up at him, her eyes slightly glassy and dazed. Her clown-like features had faded, leaving behind a dazed and loopy girl. "I told you not to go in," she said simply, shakily bringing herself to her feet.

Richie quickly went to her side, hugging her tightly and keeping her upright. She slowly shifted her weight against him, her head spinning and causing a painful headache. She had lost control, but suddenly had a strange wave of feelings run through her.

Fear.

Fear of how IT controlled her, fear of how she almost going to hurt her friends. Fear of how she almost hurt Richie and fear of how shitty she felt suddenly. And she fucking hated it. It made her feel too human, too vulnerable.

Soon Mrs. Kaspbrak had arrived to pick up Eddie, clearly angered with the injury of her son. As Avira stepped forward to retrieve the fallen keys that had fallen, Eddie's mother had stepped back, nearly hissing the next words she spoke.

"Demon-spawn," she had said, retrieving the keys. "Maybe you're the reason for the disappearing kids. Stay away from my son, curse. I don't someone like you hurting my son next, Avira Jackson," she said coldly, leaving with Eddie.

Avira sighed and bit her lip, slowly walking off as the rest of the groups had begun to argue and fight. She ignored Richie's and Bev's calls of her name, slipping into the trees and down to the Barrens.

Oh how Avira would regret that decision once she reached the water.

Standing at the bottom of the hill was the one and only Henry Bowers, a blood covered knife in his hand, his eyes glassed over under Pennywise's control and a cold, sinister grin on his face.

"Want to play a game Avi?"
