Avira's POV
I turned over my shoulder to see a boy with blonde hair and a devilish look on his face. "What do you want?" I said coldly after wiping away the remaining tears on my cheeks.
The boy walked towards me and ran his finger across my jaw. "I dont think we've met." He said. "I didnt catch your name."
"Well, i didnt throw it..." I muttered and took a step back. "I know who you are. My father has talked about you, Henry Bowers."
"Well, who's your dad, doll?"
"You dont wanna know."
"I said tell me!" Henry snapped and grabbed my wrist tightly.
I growled and let my grey eyes turn red. My teeth changed to fangs and my skin began to tingle as the red lines appeared. The scent of fear fell into the air and i smirked.
"T-the thing from the moon... I-IT..." Henry backed away from me. "Your father... Your dad is Pennywise?"
"Yes." I giggled, sounding eerily similar to my father. "Pennywise told you to do a killing spree. You don't harm me or the Losers' Club. Understood?"
"B-but-" Henry started, and pulled out his switchblade.
"No 'buts'. If you kill my friends, I'll eat you. Do you understand?" I demanded, baring my fangs.
He jumped and backed away. "Y-y-yes I unders-stand." His eyes glassed over and he slowly backed away into the trees.
I exhaled and let the red in my eyes fade. I didn't want to be like this, but god did I love the power. But I didn't want to be the reason for fear... but at the same time, I liked people being afraid of me. I was so conflicted.
I knew I would eventually have to choose. Pennywise finally gave me answers for me powers and showed me my other half, but killed children.
The Losers club were the only friends I had ever known. I was quite fond of them, especially Richie. But Bill hated me. No about of manipulation and charm-speak could erase the huge amount of anger and pain Bill felt.
I didn't want to be alone again.
Richie's POV
"Do you have a crush on Avira, cause you were pretty protective over her infront of Bill." Bev said.
"N-no. Why would I, um have a crush on her? I haven't even known Avi that long." I replied.
"Avi?" Stan asked.
"Um, that's my nickname for her... Shit!" I groaned and sat down, realizing I had revealed my crush.
"Richie likes Avira! Richie likes Avira!
Richie likes Avira!" Mike and Stan shouted. "Trashmouth has a crush!!""S-shut up losers." I said, feeling my face turning red as I buried my face in my hands.
"I'm surprised," Beverly said, "That Trashmouth has nothing smart-ass to say for once." She stifled a laugh.
"Okay okay, besides the fact that Richie, you know, likes her. We need to figure out something with that clown." Ben said.
"Ben's right. We need to kill it, but we need Avira and Bill." Beverly said.
"I can get Avira to come back but Bill is gonna be a problem. He's even madder than Eddie when I call him "Eds"." I said, throwing a rock at a tree, only missing Eddie by an inch. He glared at me and I shrugged.
"'Madder' isn't a word," Eddie added.
Beverly sighed. "I can try to talk to Bill. How about tomorrow we meet at Bill's house and figure something out. I'll deal with the rest."
We all nodded and said our goodbyes before walking in opposite directions. I began looking for Avira; I needed to talk to her and tell her our plan. We needed her in order for this to work.
I started walking down the gravel path to the Quarry and stopped abruptly when I saw a shadow. I crept around the corner and saw Avira. My breath stopped for a second when I saw her.
Her dark hair was streaked with red and her fingernails had turned into claws that were scratching at the surface of the rocks around her.
"Avira..." My voice was just above a whisper. She turned around and met my eyes; her tear-filled blue eyes meeting my brown ones.
Sorry for the long wait on this chapter
