MARVIN'S POV
I wasn't really expecting that Michael would help me.
Hindi ko alam kung mahihiya ako or what dahil sa sobrang kabaitan niya.
But here we are, naglalakad sa labas ng campus papunta sa dorm niya.
The storm is getting worse and our clothes are getting drenched.
We started to walk a little bit faster bago pa tumaas yung baha and suddenly...
Michael bumped into a girl.
She dropped her things and Michael noticed.
"Hala miss, sorry sorry." Sabi ni Michael sa babae at tinulunguan niya yung girl na pulutin yung mga gamit niya.
The girl was also holding an umbrella kaya I wasn't able to get a clear view of her face but I can hear their conversation.
"Michael?" Sabi nung girl sakanya habang pinupulot nila yung mga nalaglag na gamit.
"K-- ... Kim??" Sabi ni Michael sa girl.
I got really curious kaya medyo lumapit ako ng konti sakanila.
"I didn't know that you are also studying here." Sabi ng girl kay Michael.
"Well... small world, isn't it?" Sabi ni Michael sa girl.
"Yea, I guess so. It's umm... nice to see you again." Sabi ng girl kay Michael.
There was a few seconds of silence before Michael started to speak again.
"Hey... umm, sorry ulit. Di ko sinasadya na mabangga ka..." Sabi ni Michael sa girl.
"It's ok." Sabi ng girl kay Michael.
"Umm... wanna go inside? I'll buy you something to eat for not walking carefully." Sabi ni Michael sa girl named Kim at tinuro niya yung 7-11 store na malapit sa amin.
"Oh, yea sure." Sabi ni Kim kay Michael.
We went inside the convenience store and sinara na namin ang mga payong namin.
"Kim... This is Vin. He's my blockmate." Pinakilala ako ni Michael kay Kim.
"And Vin. Meet Kim... my... my... highschool friend." Sabi sakin ni Michael.
"Oh hi. It's nice to meet you Vin." Sabi sakin ni Kim.
"It's nice to meet you too." Sabi ko sakanya with a little bit of awkwardness.
"Michael... hahanap lang muna ako ng mauupuan." Sabi ko kay Michael at iniwan ko muna silang dalawa.
I found a table with chairs and sat.
I watched them from the place where I was sitting.
Not sure if it's just me or...
There's something going on between these two.
I don't know but...
I can see that they are a little bit uncomfortable with each other as if like they had problems before.
Or maybe I'm just overthinking...
Nagorder na si Michael ng noodles and umupo na din sila sa table na tinambayan ko.
"So what are you guys taking up?" Tanong samin ni Kim.
I suddenly noticed her change of mood.
From being uncomfortable to being this sweet type of girl who seems very approachable.
"Civil Engineering. Ikaw Kim?" Sabi ni Michael.
