MARVIN'S POV
Tonight is going to be pageant for the Mr and Ms. Engineering candidates.
We are now preparing for the tarpaulin that we will use to support Mia.
Gosh, sobrang excited na kami!
Lalaban muna siya dito sa College of Engineering. She will be representing Civil Engineering and may makakalaban siya 5 other Engineering courses.
Meron from Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
The event is being held in front of the Main Building ng campus.
Sineset-up na ang stage and lights and the crowd is getting big.
We haven't seen Mia today dahil busy siya sa pag peprepare pero we feel confident that she would win.
Kasama ko mga katropa ko.
I'm with Ana, Ethan, Alexander and sinama ko na din yung bestfriend ko na si Abby.
Syempre, nandito din si Andrew dahil may surprise siya na pinrepare for Mia mamaya.
So, the stage and lights are now ready and umakyat na ng stage ang mga hosts.
This is it! Rarampa na ang dyosa ko na kaibigan!! Hahahaha.
"Good evening everyone. I am Mark Marquez. With me is Trish Rodriguez and we are going to be your hosts for tonight's Thomasian Youth Ambassador and Ambassadress Pageant! Is everyone excited to see the candidates?" Sabi ng lalaking host.
Everyone was already cheering for the candidates that they are rooting for.
The crowd is starting to get wild.
"I guess all of them are excited partner. Can we hear all of the supporters of Mr. and Ms. Civil Engineering?" Sabi ng babaeng host.
Then a really loud cheer conquered the area.
It feels like that a lot of Civil Engineering students are here to support our candidates.
Then other engineering courses were also asked to cheer for their candidates.
"Wow! We are now feeling the hype here. The candidates are now ready for their introduction. Without any further ado, here are our Ambassadors and Ambassadress from the College of Engineering!" Sabi ng lalakeng host.
Then tinaas namin ng mga katropa ko yung tarpaulin habang sinisigaw yung 'Let's go Civil Engineering!'
Lumabas na ang mga candidates wearing their casual attires para pumunta sa mic at sabihin ang kanilang name, age and engineering course.
Nauna ang Mechanical Engineering, followed by Chemical Engineering and pangatlo ang Civil Engineering.
