I couldn't find them, they'd taken measures to erase their presence. Luckily Sarah managed to patch Sebastian up and he was stable. I couldn't sleep that night. I tossed and turned and I was a wreck in the morning. And Lorie's behavior didn't help my mood. She kept throwing a tantrum about not wanting to go to school and I was losing patience. Fast. I could feel my anger bubbling away inside of me and the room started to turn grey which soon made her go quiet.

"Lorie," I say in a low, measured tone, "this, is the last time I will say this; GET.READY.FOR.SCHOOL!"

She stood in shock for a moment before her eyes turned red and her fangs grew out. She started screaming and throwing her toys at me.

"LORIE THAT'S ENOUGH!" I scream, grabbing her and dragging her to the bathroom, "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR GAMES AND YOUR ATTITUDE! YOU ARE GOING TO SCHOOL ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!"

"I HATE YOU!" she screamed, "I HATE YOU! YOU'RE AN EVIL WITCH! YOU'RE TRYING TO MAKE MY BROTHERS LOVE YOU MORE THAN ME!"

I whirl around to confront her accusation but I'm stopped short by a stabbing pain in my abdomen. I look down and see a large kitchen knife protruding out of my stomach.  I look at Lorie who's grinning from ear to ear, clearly pleased with herself. She grabs me by my shirt and throws me against the wall at the other side of her room and starts choking me with her inhuman strength. I use what little magic I can muster inside of me and throw her back and she goes crashing into her dollhouse causing it to break. She scrambled back up, furious and threw me out the window and into the woods behind the house. My pain increases as I feel my bones break from the impact. I look down and see that my bone is poking out of my leg and my chest burns as I scream in pain.

Nicolae comes running out of the manor and finds me lying in the dirt. I passed out as I saw his eyes glow red...

Victor was coming. He was coming to Mystery Spell. He's stronger now. He has an army. I feel my body succumb to his will and I kill the brothers and Lorie, and Sarah and the Osbornes...in fact, the whole town is burning by my hand. The scene changes and I'm in his Transylvanian Palace. He's grinning before sinking his teeth into my neck and giving me his blood, making me his eternal toy...

I woke up in the hospital. Yet again. I was stitched up and my magic was responding to my rage and was speeding up the healing process. I sat up in bed, grabbed my clothes that were on the nightstand, changed out of my hospital gown and walked out of the hospital. I sent Sarah a quick text, turned down an alley where there were no camera or people and teleported back to the mansion. I packed my bags while the brothers and Lorie were out. I had more stuff going than I did coming from here, which annoyed me a little, but, oh well. Sarah pulled up outside the manor with Sebastian in the back of her car, their bags packed. I left a note for the brothers, warning them of Victor and what my vision pertained, before putting my things in the back of the car and hopping in. Showtime.

A few hours later we pulled up outside an abandoned church that had several cars parked outside. The pendulum on the map had led us here, so were followed the directions on the map and here we were. The Templar meeting place. I gestured for them to wait in the car and I went inside.

The members all stood up in shock at my intrusion.

"Evening gentleman," I say casually, as I stroll in casting a glance at Loan who's standing nervously in the corner, "sorry to interrupt, but I'm here to discuss the terms of your surrender in terms of persecuting my friends."

The man at the front of the room starts laughing and few others join in nervously until they see my unflinching expression.

"You're serious?" he asks in disbelief, "What you got little witch? You're in a room full of people who'd have you dead."

"I'm in a room full of people who question the teachings of the order they follow and I'm here to set the record straight," I say, slowly walking forward, "I know Victor Bartholy ordered that hit on Sebastian. Unfortunately, you've sided with the one man who wants to see the world burn and the extinction of mankind would be his greatest pleasure. Everyone else is harmless. There's no evidence in the last 50 years of anyone but him causing any distress to humanity and yet you side with him which can only mean one thing: he's paying you handsomely."

The younger members begin to mutter among each other, clearly surprised by this news.

"Even if that were true, it doesn't change the fact that you're a witch and it's our job to kill you," he grins wickedly, "what's a lowly witch like yourself going to do, huh? Through some tea leaves at me?"

A couple of elder members snicker at his remark. I lean forward so that I'm right in his face and say, "My name is Ophelia Vatore, of the Vatore bloodline. One of the last pureblood witch bloodlines in existence. A few months ago I single-handedly slew over a hundred vampires under Victor Bartholy's control and burned his entire estate to the ground in the process, and you, sir, are getting on my last nerve. Call.Off.Your attacks. Disband the order, and don't you ever let me catch you harming a supernatural being ever again."

The man swallowed hard, his face pale as he let out a timid nod. I smile, satisfied, and turn to leave. I hop back in the car where Sebastian is putting new cell phone numbers on our phones so we can't be traced.

"The first location is in New Orleans," Sarah says, packing away the map and pendulum.

I nod and she starts up the car. If Victor is building an army, we'd need out own, and it starts in New Orleans...
