It had been several months since my run in with Victor, and life in Mystery Spell had been relatively peaceful. It meant we could investigate the Templars in peace. We'd established by now that Loan was either a member or was going to initiated as a member. My task, as the only person he actually would talk to, was to find out as much information I possibly could from him at the masquerade ball hosted at College tonight. The theme was fantasy, so Sarah and I had co-ordinated as Odette and Odile from Swan Lake. I was placing the finishing touches on our gowns over at her place. I wanted them to be a surprise. Since the fashion show, I'd been getting orders from many other girls on campus as well, and I was able to charge a pretty penny for my time since it was discovered I was the designer behind Devin Costello's fashion line. I was a regular businesswoman. The brothers were starting to get worried I'd no longer be Lorie's nanny with the amount of cash I was raking in from my design work.

I stopped to admire my handiwork on the gowns when Sarah came in with some of her homemade herbal tea. Sarah's talents for healing, herbology, and elemental magic was outstanding. Her teas were delicious. We both gazed at the gowns in amazement:

"You've outdone yourself," she whistled, "and with our shoes and masks that you've made, I feel like we'll be the Belles of the ball."

I laugh, "Need I remind you that practically every girl who's going has commissioned me to design their dresses. Except for Samantha, who has gone to the expense of having Dior design her dress."

Sarah rolls her eyes and hands me a potion in a hip flask, "Alright, this is the truth serum. Put one drop of this in Loans drink and you have 5 minutes to get the information you need out of him."

"5 minutes is enough for a dance," I murmur, "I won't look suspicious doing it either if there are any members of the order there. If I can find out where the Templars are located, we can end the threat they pose."

"Yeah, but let's not forget to enjoy the night 'Odette'," she smirks, then she whispers, "how's 'prince charming' these days?"

I look away, pained by the sarcasm of the question. Sebastian has been acting weird ever since the incident with Victor. The boys found out about our relationship and while they don't think it's a good idea, they didn't do anything to prevent it either. He'd been especially harsh on Peter and Drogo in school and had started wanting to know where I was, what I was doing and who I was doing it with. His possessiveness was bordering on abuse and honestly, I was getting sick of it.
