Out Of My Limit

~You're just a little bit out of my limit~

Today is my first "official" day on the job. Like usual, I wake early and go for a run. When I get back, I shower and dress. Today, I dress in black jeans and a Stanford sweatshirt. I lace my feet into a pair of gray Adidas sneakers before grabbing my purse and heading out the door.

I stop at Starbucks and order a large iced coffee. David texts me, warning me that today he has a video going up, and he wants me to check it before he posts it.

I drive to the vlog house and park. I exit my car and walk up to the door. I knock, sipping my coffee as I wait.

"It's open!" A voice yells.

I open the door and immediately spy David and Jason at opposite ends of the living room editing their own videos.

"Oh, good, you're here. Come on, check out this video." David waves me over and he hands me a pair of headphones.

I slip them on and he plays the video. When the iconic four-minutes-and-twenty-seconds video is over, I take off the headphones.

"Ok, yeah, that's good, but like... you guys go to USC a lot," I comment.

"Well yeah, it's a great place for content." David laughs.

"I don't know how USC is, but my university (well, all of them) had a strict policy with outsiders. Like you guys go to all these frat parties, and all the frats on my campus would have never let strangers in. I'm not saying you guys need to quit going there, but like, do you ask permission to record when you go? Or do you just start recording and hope for the best?" I ask.

"We usually only ask permission if there's a fight or if it's something that will produce good content," David says.

"It'll be fine. Just for future reference, always ask before showing up to a frat house waving around cameras. Most frat houses are on campus, and there's usually drugs and alcohol involved, so if anyone from the university sees your videos with their school in it, they could sue you." I say.

"Oh, damn. Yeah, we'll be careful." David laughs. "Oh hey, Scotty and Todd had a question for you. They're outside, by the pool."

I walk outside and meet Scotty and Todd. They wave me over and I sit next to them in a chair.

"So, we're going to get tattoos tomorrow." Scotty begins.

"Isn't that a filming day for David?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Yeah, but like, we don't have to be here every second. Anyway, we were wondering if you wanted to come with us. We're doing a game show thing with Romeo Lacoste." Scotty continues.

"Hell yes," I say, a little too excited. "I love Romeo; he's so talented."

"Hey, if you want, you could do the game with us. Do you know Dom DeAngelis?" Todd asks with a laugh.

"Dommy D?" I roll my eyes. "I know of him."

"Hold on a second, David said you have your own channel. What do you do on it?" Scott asks.

"Mostly just rant about things. I haven't uploaded anything in a month though, what with graduating from Stanford and moving here and all that stuff." I shrug.

"Do you ever collab? Because you could bring your camera tomorrow and record the game for your channel." Scott says, nodding along with his own idea.

"Yeah, I'll do that. I mean, I'd have to get Romeo's permission first, but yeah." I reply.

Scott and Todd burst into laughter. "We never ask Romeo." Scott says as Todd says, "Dude, he'll do anything for clout."

"That may be true, but still. It's his tattoo shop, it's his brand. I can't use his brand without asking him first." I roll my eyes. "You guys don't get it, do you?"
