One Dance

~I need one dance~

The next morning when I wake up, I have a massive headache. I roll over to check the time, and I'm not surprised to see that it's noon.

My phone has texts from all members of the vlog squad. I check David's first. Oh shit. It's a filming day.

I jump out of bed and shower quickly, fully aware of the pounding in my head. I dry my hair and apply a little bit of makeup. I change into black high-waisted shorts and a gray tank top. I lace my feet into my Adidas sneakers before I grab my phone and wallet and head out.

Once I'm outside, I remember that I took an Uber home last night. So, I call an Uber and wait for it to arrive. Once it does, it takes forever to get to the vlog house.

I walk into the house and fall onto the couch next to Todd. I rest my head on his shoulder as David walks into the room with his camera.

"Ally, Todd, what's going on?" David asks; I groan.

"Well, David, it looks like--" Jason begins, but I glare at him and his words stop.

I move away from Todd and sigh. "I feel like I got run over by a truck."

"You shouldn't have drunk so much last night." Todd laughs.

David exits the room, probably to go film someone else. I roll my eyes and turn back towards Todd.

"Have you talked to Dom?" I ask in a low whisper.

"Not since yesterday. Speaking of Dom, how's your tattoo?" Todd nods to my leg.

"It's healing really nicely." I show him the ink. "I actually really like it."

"It looks really good. But then again, Romeo did it so none of us should be surprised." Todd laughs.

"I can't believe I finally got a tattoo from him. It's all I've wanted for the longest time." I sigh happily.

"Hey guys, David wants everyone outside," Jason informs us, standing up.

We follow Jason outside and David has some ridiculous stunt set up.

"Why would you do this in front of me?" I groan. "David, this is so dangerous! Someone could get really hurt!"

"Relax, it's for the content. It'll be over in like a minute." David assures me.

"That's not comforting!" I exclaim.

I watch the scene before me unfold as everyone records it. At least if something terrible goes wrong, there will be five different videos for proof. My fears were all for nothing. David's bit goes smoothly and no one gets hurt.

"See? It wasn't so bad." David laughs.

"It could have been bad!" I argue, a smirk forming on my face.

We have Chipotle brought to the house by Postmates an hour later. We all sit in the kitchen eating as David talks.

"So guys, the party last night was pretty great. I had a couple people send me texts this morning. Ally, lots of people were interested in you." David pulls out his phone and begins reading messages to me. "'Woah Dave, who was the chick hanging off of Dom last night?', 'Your lawyer is banging', and my favorite one 'Dude give me your lawyer's information, I might need her to defend my client'."

"Who was the last one from? And how did they meet me?" I ask, completely ignoring the rest of his words.

"The last one isn't important. I just thought it was funny because you work for me." David laughs. "But seriously, Dom DeAngelis? You could do better."
