Vlog Squad {Dom DeAngelis}

Tuesday

Two weeks before I am supposed to start my new job, David calls everyone to the house. We sit in the living room, him in the center of our circle.

"Guys, as you all know, Ally is leaving us in two weeks. Well, I promised we'd throw her a party, so that's what we're doing tonight." David meets my eyes. "She deserves one last big party with us."

"She's not dying." Scott laughs, crossing his arms.

"She's leaving the squad," Todd says, hitting Scott.

"Scott's right, David. I'm not dying." I roll my eyes.

"We're having a going away party for you, and that's final." David laughs. "Now, let's get to work."

Several hours later, the party is ready. Scott and Todd bought alcohol, Heath and Zane bought food, and David is providing music.

David also refuses to tell me who all he invited, so I know something is up. He instructs me to go home and change clothes, and I reluctantly do so.

Back at home, I change into a floral cropped blouse and jeans with my heels. I pull my hair into a high ponytail and fix my makeup. I text Dom asking him to come over, but he tells me he can't and that he'll meet me at the vlog house in thirty minutes.

I head back to the house, slightly disappointed but extremely nervous. It's just a party. Nothing bad is going to happen.

Thirty minutes after my boyfriend texted me, he shows up. The party has already started, but it was just me and the vlog squad for five minutes before others started showing up.

"Dom!" I exclaim, throwing my arms around him.

"Hi, baby." He kisses me. 

Behind him are Kian and Jc. I hug them as well and thank them for coming.

"We don't get kisses?" Kian teases.

I roll my eyes as Dom wraps an arm around my waist. 

"Hey, Ally." A voice pipes up from behind Kian and Jc. 

"No way." I shake my head.

"Corey, what are you doing here?" I exclaim.

"David invited me. Congratulations on your new job." Corey smiles.

"Um, thanks. Listen, go get some drinks, have fun. I'm going to speak to David really quick." I drag Dom with me as I search for David.

I find him outside and I pout immediately. 

"Why did you invite Corey?" I whine.

"So you could see all the lives you've touched by working with me the past ten months." David sighs. "I'm really going to miss you. YouTube is going to miss you."

"I'm not leaving YouTube." I blurt, but then I clap a hand over my mouth. I shouldn't have said that.

"What do you mean?" David asks.

"I told you I'm working for a talent agency. That means working for other YouTubers." I bite my lip. "Can we not talk about them right now?"

David sighs and nods.

Dom and I don't leave each other's sides the entire night. We take shots together, play beer pong together, and dance together outside on the grass.

"I'm glad I met you." I smile.

"Me too." Dom holds me tighter as we dance.

"But really, I'm glad Scott and Todd convinced me to go to Romeo's shop with them. If I hadn't, I probably wouldn't have met you." I pull back and look up at him. "Isn't that crazy?"
